Talking close to first 10%

This week has been good; my travel threw me off my routine, but it seems that I weathered it well enough. The scale was pleased today, my weigh-in day, and showed that my rate of loss is consistent with the usual (2.7 lbs/week, plus or minus .1 lb) and this week I passed the 25 lb mark.

I confess to a little impatience for the first time, though, because I'm only .8 lb away from my first 10%. Argh! I haven't any right to be impatient because my losses have been going pretty well.

I'll try to put it out of mind for a while. Perhaps a workout...

Valentine's Day dinner will probably be Alaskan King crab and a good salad.
