Collie are beautiful dogs. I can't wait to see pictures! I love, love LOVE dogs and I personally love shelter dogs and I will probably always adopt my pets. However I agree that good breeders and people that are seriously into one breed or another are NOT taking away from shelter dogs. I would still recommend that any one looking for a good family/companion start at the shelters(after researching temperaments) and branch out from there.
