I think my plateau broke
I was plateau'd in the 250s approximately 4-ever. Like, 3 months. 252, 258, 253, 256...etc....etc.!
Then, for some reason, majik I guess (!), the scale has started moving again!
I weighed in at 250.0 September first. Today, I hopped on the scale (well, to be precise, stepped Very Gently Onto the Scale) and it said 243.1 !!!!
What that means overall is, I have lost 127 lbs in exactly 13 months. That is an average loss of 2.1 lbs a week over that time period. Of course, that's not how my weight has come off, but, hey. All I can say is, those of you plateauing, DO NOT DESPAIR. Stay ON PLAN and the weight WILL COME OFF when it is GOOD AND READY.
As a side note, I am quite sure my small 16s should fit by the end of this month. I haven't been able to get my big butt into any of them since June/July 2003. I don't think they'll be ready for public viewing, but I think they'll zip, at least.
If this keeps on, I will run out of clothes by the end of the year. And that's perfectly fine with me!!!

Boy when you break a plateau, you BREAK a plateau. You don't fool around!
I'd agree. No magic. No luck. Just plain old "hard" work. Perseverance. Determination.
Enjoy those 240's. For now. Something tells me they won't be hanging around all that long. Aww, what a pity.
