A week ago I received my BodyBugg in the mail. I have been wearing it every day and really trying to wrap my head around what it's going to take to get this weight off. It's been a long time since I have really tried.
Yesterday was my 1st weigh in and I've lost 6 lbs!!
Sandi - sounds interesting! I went to their website to read about it - omigosh, light text on a light background? Ouchies! How does it work? Congrats on the loss
I'm up 2 pounds back to where I started 2 weeks ago in spite of exercising more, and cutting back on calories. My bilateral wrist tendonitis still remains. I went to the doctor and will try to start physical therapy this week. Now my knee hurts from too much exercise so I will rest that for a bit while I rework my meal habits. One thing that must change is wine with dinner. That started when I met my husband. I just read that alchohol does not turn to sugar - it converts to another substance that must be burned before anything else can be burned. Any carbs or fats consumed simultaneously with alcohol will just be turned to body fat while the body works on the alcohol. I didn't know that. So, wine with dinner must stop. If I have a glass at all, it will be one small one closer to bedtime after dinner has had plenty of time to digest.
I'm less elated than I thought I'd be, because I haven't achieved this weight by healthy means. I picked up a stomach virus the weekend before last & spent two days confined to my apartment, in bed for most of them. I had no appetite. My sense of taste was off. I didn't want anything spicy or sweet or in any way extreme.
By the time I weighed in, my stomach was settled, but it felt like the weigh-in shouldn't count. I want to see how long I can maintain it under "real life" conditions.
