Default Never thought THAT would change

I have vivid memories of searching for XL-sized rubber gloves when I was in school and doing a rotation at a SNF. Whenever I would find a box of XL gloves I'd load my pockets, and generally always walked around with pens, surgical tape, a gait belt, and 2-3 pairs of gloves in my trouser pockets. This was about 18 months (and 50 pounds) ago.

So I had to go buy a box of gloves recently, and I naturally grabbed a box of XL. I Got them back, opened them up...and they're WAAAAAAY too big! I can pull one on, wiggle my fingers a bit, and have it FALL off!! Large size are a bit loose but they'll stay on, and I can function (the fingers are a little short, and that part isn't going to change I hope! ) in size Medium! Color me shocked!

I've gone from a size 24 to an 18 in trousers, and from XXL/22-24 to L/14-16 in shirts. But I certainly never expected such a dramatic change in my rubber glove size!

So my question is this: what has changed for you that you NEVER expected to change? What has caught you by surprise?

My ring size went down... from a 9 to a 7! That was awesome!

And Congratulations!

Oh that's so cool.

Hm. Shoe size. I mean, logicially I know that my feet were fat, but it took me forever to realize why my shoes weren't fitting well. I really did keep thinking they'd just gotten stretched out.

Also my rings ... I blow dry my hair by bending at the waist and flipping my hair over and drying it upsidedown. I did that about 7 or so months ago and ran my hands through my hair and my rings went flying off my fingers. That was a huge realization for me that I'd lost a *lot* of weight.

Hey, my shoe size went UP! Can you believe it? The lady at the New Balance store said that typically when sedentary people get active their arch will fall somewhat and push their foot out. I went from 8 1/2 regular to a 9 1/2 narrow.

My size 7 wedding rings slip off now. I need to put a bit of tape or something to keep them on.

I also wanted to mention that I wore a silver, glitzy top today and crystal necklace and earrings today. I would NEVER have done anything like that before.
