Talking WATER! and cereal ... AND a treadmill!

First of all... I am up to 3 liters of water PER DAY!!! This is amazing to me. I would rarely drink more than 2 or 3 glasses per day before and now... THIS! It feels amazing

Oh and I need a good cereal reccomendation... I've been eating (when I do eat cereal) just plain cheerio's but I'm finding them rather boring.

OH OH OH! I asked for a treadmill on freecycle yesterday and I got one!!! It's a manual one (I'll get a motorized one after Christmas) but it was FREE! So I did my first 20 minutes on it this morning

Just wanted to share

Thanks ladies!

Good for you!

I'm a big fan of steel cut oats for breakfast, but if you don't want hot cereal, I'd look into the Kashi brand cereals - they seem to be pretty balanced and healthy for the calories.

Shredded wheat and weetabix are personal favorites of mine... or raisin bran if you can find one that's fairly low in sugar (my store brand's organic line has one). Oh! And Alpen brand Muesli (the no sugar added kind). It's not very sweet, but it has dried fruits, oats, nuts, etc. in it. The serving size is fairly small for that and it is higher in calories because of the fruits and nuts, though.

I LOVE Flax Plus, from Natures Path. They have a couple different kinds but I like the multi bran omega-3. It's yummy, healthy, omega-y, and it's got flax fiber!!! Only 110 calories per serving, and even better with a banana cut up on top.

Congrats on getting your treadmill!! As for cereal, I like almost all of the Kashi cereals. And I believe they are pretty good and balanced.

And I WISH I could drink that much water a day.

I looked at a bunch of cereals tonight. I ended up getting grapenuts because it wasn't too expensive and seemed to be made of pretty basic ingredients. It's a bit high in calories but I liked that there weren't a ton of ingredients I couldn't pronounce.

I eat Fiber One cereal. It has 57% daily value of fiber and no sugar. I eat two 1/2 cup servings and add a little no calorie sweetener and find it delicious!
Congratulations on your treadmill!

I can't say enough about Kashi GO LEAN cereal. It fills me up and it keeps me going until lunch. It's a well balanced cereal. It's yummy too!

I loooove my hot oatmeal in the morning, but my cereal favorites are: Kashi anything (especially the Honey Flax one), Quaker squares, mini wheats, and occasionally Cinnamon Life because it is sooo delish.

I love kashi go lean CRUNCH. It tastes great, is lower in calories and the double fiber and extra protien keeps me full longer.

I can have 1 cup of cereal, 1/2 cup skim milk and a medium sized gala apple for less than 300 calories. Add strawberries or whatever fruit you like if you want it sweeter.

I also love this organice flax seed cereal I can't think of the name of. It has raisins, flax seed, pumpkin seeds and lots of whole grains, very rich in omegas too..Im thinking it might be the flax plus someone else mentioned, that sounds very familiar and it's in a purple box. The box is gone..grr.

OH yeah... on the treadmill too!
