Default Starting over...sort of.

I have just been in a horrible funk since I got sick. I haven't been able to get back into exercising like I want. Everytime I tried to do what I did before getting sick, I would get discouraged and disgusted with myself for not being able to do it. I got to where I would dread even writing out my exercise plan for the day because I knew I would fail. I had one of those "aha" moments last night. My body can't function they way I've come to expect it to function. So I decided to just start back over like I did with my exercise in January—playing the Wii, walking, and some WATP. Once I can get my endurance back up then I can start adding back the things that I have come to love doing and before long it will be an integral part of my life.

FYI—I did 30 minutes last night and I felt so accomplished and not like I was failing myself by only doing that amount of time. (I was doing between 1-3 hours a day).

Good job. It's wonderful that you see that you have a set back and aren't letting it stop you. Everyone has challenge to face, it's what you do with the challenges that will matter in the end. Keep up the good work!

I think that's an awesome way to look at it! You'll be back where you were in no time.

Hey, Dawnyal! I've been AWOL for so long, I've lost touch with everyone. I didn't know you've been sick. Good for you on getting back on track! Howie and I are still struggling with that one...But we're still struggling, so we've not given up!
