You will want to meet with your doctor first, especially if you are experiencing any health risks. These include:

- heart disease
With your doctor, you will need to come up with a weight loss plan.
Surely part of your weight loss plan will have to include a change in your diet. If you have a binge eating disorder, it needs to be identified and addressed.
The first thing you can do, even before you meet with your doctor, is to start keeping a food journal. This is the easiest way to track any unhealthy eating patterns.
As hard as it may seem, an exercise plan will need to be developed. This doesn’t have to be overwhelming; even small things can add up to a big difference, and you gradually increase your activity as it gets easier. Make a commitment to perform some kind of movement, even if it’s simply walking around the block.
