Question of the Week February 13-19
i saw in some other parts of this board that they have questions of the day to help keep people motivated about themselves and their weightloss journey.
i was thinking b/c we're a small group maybe we could do a question of the week? this weeks questions: what are some non-scale victories you have accomplished since beginning your weight loss journey? jump right in!:flow2: |
Hi all! Hope its ok for me to join! Im doing WW at home since Jan 3 and so far ive lost 18 lbs. The only NSV ive had so far is that my capris FIT me now! I havent been able to wear them for a few years! Couldnt get them over my hips!!! I measured my hips after I got my pants on and I lost 3 inches in my hips. I was so excited, I about cried!!!
I cant wait till I get other NSV!!!! Have a wonderful day & Happy Valentines Day! |
purple crush--that is fantastic!
the only one i can think of right now is that i moved from using 2 pound weights to 5 pound weights for my biggst loser workout. |
Hi
My biggest NSV is running my long runs at less than a 9 min/mile pace. I have NEVER been able to do that before. Plus, sometimes when i'm having an 'eh' week, some one will compliment on how I've slimmed down and that helps out so much :) |
Carrie ~ Great topic - thanks for starting it. WTG on increasing your weights.
PurpleCrush ~ WTG on the tremendous weight and inch loss thus far. Best of luck with your goals. Emily ~ WTG with decreasing your min/mile time. You are a machine!! WTG. My biggest NSV so far is rediscovering my love of exercise and things fit a little better. |
Hi,
I am new here and thought I would share my nsv. The best nsv I have had so far was when I recently tried on one of those tighter fitting yoga tops with the sphagetti straps--I really did not think it would fit but I gave it a try and when I put it on I surprised my self with a "wow I look hot in this". I never thought I would ever look good in a top like that yaaaaa!!! |
i had steve measure me last night and in a month my waist went from 50 inches to 48 inches!!!! definitely a non-scale victory!!!!
of course according to the measurements my bust grew 2 inches....steve was very happy about that. sheesh. |
hahaha... that's awesome c*g.... guys can be so predictable ;)
congrats everyone on your nsv's..... way to go!! so far my only nsv is that some old button-up shirts fit now (losing more around the bust than anywhere else first) and that i'm back on my lower belt hole. progress is seen! :D |
