Me too!

I'm also thinking about continuing WW at home. I've been going to meetings since 9/29/05, and truth be told I think I need a break from them. The support and hand clapping has been great, but right now it's just not what I need. I love this board, and I feel very thankful to have found it and all the wonderful people here.

Currently I'm doing Core and I really like it. I lift weights 2 mornings a week with a trainer, and I do between 20-25 min on the elliptical machine at the gym. I also do a one hour kickboxing class 2 nights a week. I'm in a good place to keep moving forward with all this. What I can't handle is wondering how someone else's scale is going to read every Tuesday. :(

So do I need to do anything special to start? My starting weight at WW was 238.4. Scale at home (naked weight LOL) read 204; WW had me at 208.4 for a loss of .2 pounds from last week. Should I just take my starting weight from WW and my home weight from this morning and go from there? Any advice/info will be appreciated. :)

:welcome3:

i've only been around here for a couple of weeks but everybody's been great and so knowledgeable! jump right in, the more the merrier.:)

personally i would go with whatever your home scale says and to stick with that scale. i've found every scale gives you a different weight, so as long as you're consistent with the scale it will let you know if you're losing/gaining.

i've also read that you shouldn't keep your scale in the bathroom because the drastic temperature changes and the humidity affect the scale. i've got mine under the coffee table in the living room right now with the garbage can on top of it so i don't pull it out and weigh myself every 2 minutes.:dizzy:

i hope doing ww@home is what you need to keep yourself motivated. if you know about ww and the plan and stuff you should be ready to go!:)
