Anne-Marie,

I am doing the WW from home, too. I joined WW back when the points "method" first started - not sure how much has changed since then, but here are the points guidelines listed in my book:

Current Weight - Daily Points Range
Less than 150 pounds - 18 to 25 points
150 to 174 pounds - 20 to 27 points
175 to 199 pounds - 22 to 29 points
200 to 224 pounds - 24 to 31 points
225 to 250 pounds - 26 to 33 points
Over 250 pounds - 28 to 35 points

I see other posts talking about flex points, but they didn't have that when I was going to the meetings so I'm not sure what they are. Maybe somebody else can explain.

Here is the flex points guidelines in case anyone else needs it :)

You get this many points a day for your weight and in addition you get 35 extra points for the week to use if you choose. You can use them all, some of them, or none of them!

Less than 150 pounds..... .20
150-174.........................22
175-199.........................24
200-224.........................26
225-249.........................28
250-274.........................30
275-299.........................31
300-324.........................32
325-349.........................33
350+..............................34

HOPE THIS HELPS!

Attention Everyone:

Just keep in mind if you are nursing or pregnant it is a different set of numbers!

Christyb 06-02-2004 02:00 PM

How are the pts different for pg or nursing?

Zoesmama 06-10-2004 01:02 PM

Nursing is about 8-10 pts more and I didn't think you could do it while pregnant. I guess maybe under dr. supervision to avoid more weight gain than needed.

Do you use the range for your weight now or what you want to be?

cece 07-09-2004 02:19 PM

Your weight now.
