New At-Home Member

  • Hello,

    I've just started the at-home program as of 3/29, and this is my first time to these message boards. Currently I am sustaining myself primarily on frozen WW meals until I can find a handful of recipes to fit my daily point allowance and establish a routine. I am a newlywed, and trying to shed the pounds gained in my final few semesters of college. My weight (3/29) was 167. My goal is to shed at least 40 pounds, 50 preferably.

  • Congrats! Me too! me too! I have been an old married broad for about 3 wks now! How long have you been married?

    I am starting back on the WW program (at home because we are broke). This website is great! Besides the recipes you can find on this site and message board, I recommend dwlz.com It is also a great at home resource.

  • We were married 2/14/04 - about six weeks? (My math is terrible, which is why I rely on my ww calculator). We just went to Sam's and bought soups and snacks in bulk to fit my point values, and also help save money on frozen meals. So far it's been going well, and I've not been overly hungry and not been overly full (like I usually was pre-program - our favorite treat was a Chinese buffet here in town).
