Question for suemazrn
I also have pcos and had tried for years to lose weight. Finally, after realizing that I was over 200 lbs (223 to be exact) I decided to try again.
I lost a fair amount of weight on a low-fat diet, but then had to have my gall bladder removed because of it. Then I tried Atkins for about 3 days, but just didn't feel well and really missed fruit. Finally, I tried the Zone WOE and really like it. The only problem is that I'm busy and not home a lot so it's real hard to eat 40-30-30 most of the time. My neighbor just moved from Ontario and wanted me to join weight watchers with for a couple of weeks to see what we thought of it. We went to our first meeting last night and I have been reading the information today. I find that I need a lower carb intake to lose weight and am deathly afraid that I will gain a lot back if I do WW. Does WW work for you and your pcos? I love the idea of the system and would love to do it, but am so scared to gain any weight. I lood forward to any information or ideas you have. Thanks in advance!! |
