My hubs and I were looking into NS, but decided against it due to reviews of the food being gross. So we decided instead to do SmartOnes - one each for breakfast, lunch & dinner, and bought 2 weeks worth of food & desserts & snacks at a time. On day 5 today, and feeling great! Also, our grocery store delivers, so it's really nice - it's almost like NS, but all frozen foods (and WW string cheese and WW cookies.) Plus, it's much less expensive for two peeps. Wish us luck!

Oooo interesting plan! I wonder if I could get my hubby on board with something like this. Especially as I loathe cooking anyhow! haha. Let us know how it goes

I'm a returnee back here and was thinking of signing up for ww online. Let me get this straight, THIS APP that u recommended will do everything I need to do WW? $3.99 one time is so much better than $18.95 a month!! Lol!!

I have yet to try the app but based on the screenshots and reviews, it seems to be that way (regarding your concerns on the app that it has everything you need to do WW.) Says it has over 500,000 food items in their database and has a meal maker (I assume it's similar to WW's etools, the recipe builder.) I just may buy it right now, in fact.

I am new here. I have "stalked" 3FC for many months but have decided to take the plunge and join. It is great to have a place to go and read and receive great encouragement and understanding. I am starting WW at home by using points plus app on my kindle. Today is day 1. Here's for hoping for a great wgt loss!!

Hello everyone!

I have been doing WW on my own for the past 12 months. I joined WW in 2005 and hit my goal weight 7 months later after losing 32lbs. Needless to say, I gained the weight back and +20 lbs. So when I started again in Jan 2013, I needed to lose 52lb to my WW goal. I learned the points system, not points plus and am doing points on my own. In the past 12 months, I have lost 44 lbs. I only have 8 lbs to get back to my goal. I don't "write" everything I eat down, but I have a dry erase board with my points and I mark down how many points I use daily. Then I erase it and start again the next day. I have been doing well for awhile then hit a plateau for a few months but now I am back to losing. Would love to chat with others who are doing WW on their own.

Hi, I'm doing WW solely at home too. I post in the monthly thread. I know this works, and this is the only way I am going to keep the weight off forever. I have learned from my past mistakes, and the smartphone Apps make it impossible to screw up. lol

Good morning, I am new at this 3FC thing. I am in great hopes to find friends with the same problem as me. I need support!!!!I joined WW four years ago, I lost a total of 98 lbs. I fell in love and let myself go again. I am know up 26 pounds and I need help getting back on track. I am not one to go to meetings and I never have been. I just need people to talk to and keep me motivated to do it once again. I hope I am not in the boat alone?

Default another ww app

Hi everyone, I do ww at home on my own and use an app for iphone called iTrackBites. For me it works well, but I think I am going to try Ultimate Food Value Diary as well and see which one I like better. Hope to get back to you soon with my verdict!

I got off the wagon due to an illness that put me in intensive care but I'm back! Doing WW using my phone app only. I can't say anything bad about this app. It is AWESOME. (Ultimate Food Value Diary) It has a scanner and a huge database of foods. It will calculate everything for you including how many WW points you are to have each day. It's alot cheaper than WW online! It's 2.99 at Amazon right now.

Osteengal, look for the "April" monthly chat. We have a small but caring and supportive group. Both at home and at centers posters are there.
