Default Losing Too Fast?

I had my third weigh-in yesterday, and I lost 3 pounds. I lost 0.6 the week before, and 3.4 the first week, so in three weeks I have lost 7 pounds. I am excited! However, once I entered my weight, I had a message pop up stating that I may be losing too quickly and to consult my doctor.

I have been using all of my points daily, and my weekly points. I haven't been working out since I started, but I coach cheerleading and am active at practice, and I walk around alot. Should I be worried, or should I assume that since I started this month this is just my first month woosh?

Talking

I did WW a long time ago and I lost 15 lbs in a matter of 4 weeks. Best plan I ever tried! I didn't have the money to stick with it though, so I had to quit and of course gained it back plus some since then. If you are doing everything you should be doing, then you should be fine. It's a great plan and healthy. Good luck!

I wouldn't worry. It's pretty common to lose 5-10 lbs rapidly because a lot of it water weight. After the first couple weeks, though, you should see your weight loss change to 1-2 lbs a week.

I have to agree with eagleriverdee, It is very common depending on your body. When things slow down you will wish for scale to show numbers like they were at the beginning. On a personal note I checked with the doctor as I was losing about 10 lbs a month at the start, and all the doctor told me was don't stop what you are doing!

You seem to be going okay. Like they said, the fist week the weight you loss is mostly excess water, not fat. But you should eventually lose around 1-2 lbs (maybe even 3) a week. But if you start to lose 5 lbs+ a week, and this continues, I would see the doctor.
