Well another day and I could not get motivated to work out -- geez--- so what do I do? go get my nails done then go home eat a green giant steamed veggies and 3 glasses of wine.....lol oh well
I know I will get back into the motivation thing I have too good for too many months to let it go on to long. did I mention that from July 15-Odt 7th I have only managed to lose 9.5lbs???? It is so hard to stay motivated with so little lose. But I know that the lower my weight the slower it will go or at least that is what I am told....wonder if I am being mislead?
ok night chickies

I've been sick with a sinus infection all week, and so while I didn't feel that hungry most days, I still always made sure to eat my dailies and even on the days I was feeling better managed to eat some of my weeklies. It must have all worked, 'cause I lost 3.2 lbs! I'm only 5 lbs away from losing my 10%!!!
Also, I went to the doctor today and found out my blood pressure is a-okay. That's something I've always worried about, even though I've never had a problem with it, and I know losing this weight has obviously helped it a lot, I'm sure. But still, it was very reassuring to know that my BP is not something I have to worry about.

Hi, I basically do my Wii inside and Walk Away the Lbs. dvds since it's got cold out. On the Wii I have started with a 20 minutes run and various other activities for 10 minutes since I am just getting re-started - so far so good and I am "feeling" it...I plan on this being my main source of exercise during the Fall/Winter other than walking.

So I was doing really good for umm...2 days, then blew it again. Uggghhh! My eating/portions are so out of of control. I think I need to plan out a menu for the week. Not sure if that will help, but I have to do something! Exercise has been a total bust for me. I need to make myself do my stationary bike again, if nothing else.
Does anyone have a time of the day when you seriously think you could chew your arm off b/c you're soo hungry?

Andi654,
Sometimes I chew a piece of gum when I find myself ravenous as I like to call it. For me it first gets my mouth chewing, and secondly, while I am chewing on it I can typically figure out if it is real hunger.
Just a thought for you.

Hi Ash0424. That's great advice! Thanks, I will put that into practice and maybe end some of my mindless eating!

Hey everyone!
I do the gum trick too. Sometimes I end up chewing a whole jumbo pack a day! I also try to drink some diet peach tea, a whole glass. That fills me up and if I am full I am not as apt to eat.
Exercise... well.. I am the worst for that, I am so lazy BUT I did sign up for an exercise boot camp. It's 2 days a week for 6 weeks. It's brutal. Today I go back for my second day. I also paid in full so I won't be as apt to miss. My sister also is going so we are using the buddy system. She wasn't going to go tonight but I nagged her until she said she would go! lol
Since I haven't really been exercising until now I am not going to add more exercise until November and then I am going to join another class that meets three days a week. It will make me exercising 5 days a week! Shew... makes me tired to think about it, but no pain no gain, right?
I also try to park in the farthest parking spot, take the stairs when I can and play with DD when I get the chance.

Dip -- 2 tbsp = 1pt!!
Hello, all. I found a dip that I love for veggies and ff Pringles. I found it at Wal-Mart in the cold section by the sour cream. It is made by Cedar's. It is called tzatziki cucumber garlic dip. It reminds me of a dill dip. It is so good.
My favorite part is I can have a good snack for low points.
Example:
4 tbsp dip and 1 cup cucumber slices = 2pts
15 ff Pringles and 2 tbsp dip = 2 pts
I think tonight I am going to put 2 tbsp dip in a bowl and add a little shredded carrot and purple onion. That will double or triple my amount of dip without adding any points. I will feel like I'm pigging out when really I won't be And it will add even more flavor. YUM!

Tudor sorry about the sinus infection hope you are better
and the gum trick anything that will keep your mouth chewing without adding pts is a winner in my book....kinda like when I quit smoking as long as my mouth and hands were busy I tended to think less and less about smoking to the point the cravings were gone.
exercise....what can I say???
This week Mon-Thur night (and here it is early am friday and I just got home) I was in Reno doing all the naughty things one does in a gambling town. I tried to make healthy food choices but when eve came and the wine started to come around...oh brother.
I did try and run one day but it was pouring rain and I only went for about 20 min. The next day it was suggested to me I climb the stairs in the hotel...and I did up and down 4 times! that was 20 stories up and back down! of course I did not go real fast but I went. I guess my past problem in staying motivated was I needed something new to do. And of couse the last day I was there I find out that they have a fitness room that not even the dealers on the floor were aware of --go figure?
I am not going to weigh this week since I know there is a gain already but try to stablize for next Wed.
I will check in later

Hi everyone! This weekend was hard for me too! What a shocker, lol! Too much Mexican food and too much wine!
Nancy, how was Reno? Your plan for today sounds great! How did it go?
Chopper5- That dip sounds terrific!
Squeak351- Mmm...peach iced tea!! Sounds like you're doing great with your workouts.
It's a beautiful day here in KS today. It was a great day to get out for a walk, but instead I picked green and red lettuce, peppers, and green tomatoes out of the garden. Made a delicious salad for dinner!
Todays plan was:
B- Smoothie made with soymilk
L- 1 slice pepperoni pizza, side salad
Sn- skipped
D- stuffed bellpepper, spanish rice, green beans, and a salad! (I'm taking leftovers for lunch tomorrow)
I still have six points left, so if I get hungry later I will either have an apple w/pb or some 94% ff popcorn.
Have a great day!
