First, thanks for the welcome post to my first post. I really appreciate it. I figure at the very least I won't eat while I'm typing on a weight loss forum.
About the cough syrup, you are better off healthy than worring about the points in a couple teaspoons. The Codeine is a narcotic so be careful. the cough syrup only helps the symptoms though. Did they gave you an antibiotic or anything? Sometimes long term coughs can be from allergies or sinus problems.
