  • Way to go chickies!!!!!!!
  • Well today was my weigh in and I am pretty disapointed and bummed out. I weighed myself Sunday and yesterday and had stayed down 1.5-2.0 lbs then on the offical day....same as last Wednesday...this is frustrating but at least I know I really have lost but just am retaining some fluid????
  • Hi I am New,

I have been browsing 3FC for about a month now and have decided to finally join. I have been doing weight watchers at home for the past 2 months I have had some ups and downs, as everyone has.

This week I lost 2.8 pounds.. I was super excited. I have been uping my exercise gradully, and this week really paid off..

    Just thought I would share...
  • yeah for you s200n I will get you started on the thread____keep up the good work!
  • By some miracle I lost 1.2 this week!! I think that miracle is a lot of exercise.
  • woo hoo! Way to go Katie!

  • got to love it katier!
  • Here we go again...
Hello, all. I have struggled with weight since very young. I have tried diet after diet but always get discouraged and give up. I always do better if I have "partner" to tackle the journey with. Last year, I started WW at home with a co-worker. We both were doing okay but she decided it was too hard and quit. After doing it alone for a month, I too threw my hands up in the air and went back to my old eating habits.
My husband and I are ready to start trying for our first child. After realizing lately that my closet seems to be shrinking all of my clothes, I bought a scale this morning and weighed myself. WOW --- 258.8 lbs. The largest I have ever been in my life. After crying for a good hour, I went grocery shopping and I am prepared to start this journey once again starting tomorrow. I just remembered this website. Not sure why I forgot about it before.
Everyone here always seemed so helpful. I never really posted due to embarrassment, I just read.
This time, I will be posting no matter how embarrassing. I think the help on here will be exactly what I need to remind myself that I am not alone.
Good luck to everyone. It looks like you are all doing VERY WELL. Keep up the good work.
  • welcome chopper this is a reat place for support if it had not been for the encouraging words i would have quit last year, my journey has been slow with more ups than downs so join us its great
  • Nancy....put me down for -0.2 this week. (-4.2 for August so far)

I had a good week and I just knew it was going to be good loss this week....but, no.......agh!!

    Welcome Chopper!!
  • Hopped on the scale this morning.. After a week of long walks and great food I am down 2.4. I have now lost 16 pounds with Weight Watchers. Which puts me at 150. I am so excited to think that next week I might be in the 140's. I havent been there in 5 years... I also go a new haircut on Friday. I cut off 12 inches of my hair into a cute little bob.. My friend Whitney was like "Wow your hair cut makes you look so skinny" that is when I had to tell here well it's not just the hair cut.. I have lost 16 pounds!!!

    LOL
  • On an off the threads for the past couple of years. I have been watching people at school - parents, teachers, staff, etc. lose weight with WW for the past couple of years, but never tried it. I started 4 weeks ago and have lost 10 lbs as of this morning...oh yeah, I better change my stats! I am finding the points system much easier than counting all the calories and fat grams, etc. Thanks for everyone's inspiring tales. I'll keep reading to keep up the positives of dieting.
  • Thanks for posting boatingmommy!
  • Hi Chickies!

I started weight watchers on August 17, but decided to do Thursday as my official weigh in day. My starting weight was 188.6 (The day I started and last Thursday) and my current weight is 188.2. Soooo not what I expected it to be. I have uh oh'd my points a couple of days, but for the most part I have done good. I started exercising with the Wii My Fitness Coach Tuesday. I probably haven't been doing it long enough to make a differnce in weight, but boy do my muscles sure know something is going on.

Any tips/advice anyone has to offer would be great. I am kinda disappointed since when I was doing daily weigh ins and not counting them I got down to 187.4.

I look forward to having you all as a support group. I think I'm going to need it.

    Kasey
  • s200n - great job on the loss this week!

    Welcome boatingmommy.

Kasey - don't worry, I'm sure you'll see the loss at your next weigh in. I think I may have mentioned before that I had to stop weighing myself too often, because the daily fluctuations drove me nuts! Keep on exercising and keep journaling. You'll do great!
