Try to do WW AGAIN w/o going online or to meetings?
I have been on WW 4 times and keep gaining it back b/c I'm an emotional eater. I know the WW points system very well, but wonder if paying online or to go to meetings would help or not. Maybe just following the plan on my own and seeking support here would be enough. Any input?

I go to meetings and I think they are very helpful. At my meeting tonight there was a lifetime member who said that as soon as she stopped going to meetings she started gaining. It seems to me that people are more successful when they go to the meetings.

I think it depends on your personality. I went to 3 WW meetings the first time I started on it, but decided to do it on my own. I was successful (but fell off the wagon). I am a notorious cheap-o and don't want to pay the weekly fee. Also, I didn't connect with anyone in the class (I live in a small town--very few people at the meetings). Most of what the speakers talked about, I already knew...following that advice is another story. I'm trying it on my own again. My motivation this time is not wanting to buy a new summer wardrobe...can't fit into my clothes from last summer! Good luck!
