Getting Back on the Wagon
Last summer I tipped the scale at 234. Yikes. So I decided to give weight watcher's a try. Of course, I was broke and couldn't afford the meetings. So I did lots of research online and figured out how to do the program without the meetings.
I did really well. I lost nearly 10 pounds in the first 2 weeks. Then about 2 pounds per week after that. The shocking part is that I have PCOS and was still able to lose weight that easily! According to my dr. I have PCOS, but no insulin resistance. So that's good. Around the first of the year we moved and I totally fell off the wagon. I've been trying to climb back on ever since, but just couldn't. Before I moved I weighed 190. Now I'm back up to 202. I'm determined to get back on the wagon. I know that if I can just stay with it, I'll be at my goal weight in no time. I want to go to meetings, but dh says I did so well without meetings, there's no sense in wasting money on them. *sigh* I am planning on doing the curves 30 day fitness study. I'm an AVON representative, and we get the 30 days for free. So I figure I've go nothing to lose in giving it a try. Wish me luck and lots of will power! :D Christine |
i'll cheer for you, all the way!

I am climbing back on the wagon myself! We can do it! My newest mantra is I am going to follow through this time. Before I was all about starting but now I am about following through to the end!

I have the same problem with following through. I can follow my points for two days but then I mess up and don't try anymore. I am going to start again::coffee:
