Help with points ?
If I make a grilled cheese sandwich using 2 slices of fat free cheese - how do I calculate it? Do I add all the nutritional info together and get a point value or do I figure each component separately. For instance, 1 slice of ff cheese is 30 cals. so it is 1 point. 2 slices added together is 60 cals. - also 1 point.
I also bake my own high fiber bread but have no idea what the per slice nutritional info is. What should I value a slice at? Thanks in advance for your help! |
I figure the components separately when I do things like that. It's just easier for me that way.
To do the POINTS for your bread just figure the POINTS for all of the ingredients, add them together, and divide by the servings. http://www.dwlz.com/WWinfo/bakingpts.html will be helpful with the POINTS in baking ingredients. I just used that site today to figure out the POINTS in a Chicken Stroganoff recipe that I found on Food Network. Good Luck! |
