Hello girls, I would like to know, Do you know how many calories does each alloted points are? My points are 28, does that equals to 1200, 1500, 1600, or 1800 calories a day? I am just curious.

keelygal 12-03-2007 12:25 AM

Hello ladies! I have not been on here for a loooooooong time, but I am back and just wanted to say hello! I am ready to start again and this time make it work!!

Shay 12-03-2007 12:52 AM

Dale Junior Fan--I've had two days straight being OP for the first time since Thanksgiving.

Congrats on your loss Synergy!!! I hear 1pt=50 calories. I'm not sure. You could count pts and calories one day and figure it out.

Welcome Keelygal!

Good morning, I weighed in and it was not good. I'm up 4lbs to 225. A combination of bad choices and TOM arriving anyday now. I remember in the past it took my 2 weeks to come back from a 4lb gain. Lets see how long this way takes. I decided to own up to it and change my ticker.

Have a great day and stay OP!

NSV-I have leg muscles again!

I can use less powdered skim milk than regular skim and reducing my points for my morning cofee, woohoo!

Learned the scale might not move if I have a heavy walking day the day before, so don't let it kill your day. It will catch up eventually. :)

I am through with car shopping.....I finally got a new vehicle....Christmas came early for me...lol. My Jeep was in it's last days and now I feel safe driving around town again. I know this is a busy month for everyone, we have three more parades to do and two more Christmas parties, so I will check in when I can. I don't know if I will even weigh in for a while, but I am doing the best that I can. Hope all of you are too.

Keelygal: I am so glad to have you back:carrot: I was wondering what had happened to you.

Shay: Good for you staying OP. I am struggling at this point.....and to think I was doing so good...lol!!! You will drop that 4 in no time!

Jeanne: Thank you for the dust, I need it at this point.

jar1965 12-04-2007 12:55 PM

Hi Keelygal! Welcome!

flower: Yay on those leg muscles - :carrot:

Shay: Hi! I know the feeling about changing our tickers. Doesn't it suck when you have to move it "up"!:( Sorry. I think I'll be in the same boat. I promised myself a WI tomorrow. It'll be the first one since Thanksgiving.

Synergy - sorry I missed your post about calories and points - I think points are made up by a variety of things. Ex: total fat, dietary fiber, etc.........so I'm really not sure either! hmmmmmm

Daph! - hi! I had a great two OP days! I'm planning on a WI tomorrow. Oh gosh!!!! Wish me luck! I DON'T WANT TO MOVE MY TICKER UP!!!! :p
:carrot:Yay on the new car! What did you get? Don't you feel awesome driving around in a new car! I got a new Toyota Rav last March! I love it!

Talk to you guys later! Have a good day! Stay OP! And oh yeah, Biggest Loser is on tonight!:carrot:

I got so sick of moving my ticker in the wrong direction I finally just got rid of it. Maybe I should reinstall. Or maybe that would be bad luck??? lol

keelygal 12-05-2007 01:19 AM

I've been gone for a while, but I am back. My hubby deployed, I started an 18 credit hour semester at school and I moved, sooooo, I have no gym, no adult conversation and no time to do anthing. But the semester is almost over and I figured I should get into shape while the hubby is away. I don't have to cook manly meals for the next year, so I can stay OP! Tomorrow I am buying myself my Christmas present, a treadmill or eliptical. I am not sure which one I would rather have. Any suggestions?

jar1965 12-05-2007 08:27 AM

Morning everyone! Well as I promised.........WI (the first one since Thanksgiving) was this morning! Urgh! I had a 2.4# gain! I know, it could have been worse! I'm NOT changing my ticker. I will lose the 2.4# within 10-12 days!!!!!!!;) If I don't (but I will!!!), then I'll change it!!!!:p

keelygal - I'll keep your DH in my thoughts & prayers! My husband was in the Navy for 12 years - in his younger years! That is great that you are treating yourself to something special! I love them both! But I enjoy my treadmill so much! Good luck on your decision!

Have a nice day everyone! Stay OP!

flower 12-05-2007 08:51 AM

Keely, gosh a year is a long time! When my hubby came to FL 3 months before I did, I was very sucessful on my diet. It helps to get rid of their bad habits too. lol

Synergy 12-05-2007 09:59 AM

Hello ladies,

Congrats Dale, on your new car. I love the new car smell, It smells so good!

LondonJulz 12-05-2007 08:22 PM

I really haven't left. And I haven't been away because of guilt. Hubby and I are on the way out the door to exercise. I'll be back with an update on my past few weeks afterwards!

 to you all!!!!
