Points per day question

I am trying WW at home but how do I decide how many points I can have per day? The only information I have about WW comes from the internet. Thanks

Points per day is based on your weight.

Your Daily POINTS Range will change as you lose weight
That’s because the less you weigh, the less food you need to eat to lose weight in a safe way. If you’re interested to see the POINTS for other weight ranges, refer to the chart below.

Current Weight Daily POINTS Range
Less than 150 pounds 18-23
150 to 174 pounds 20-25
175 to 199 pounds 22-27
200 to 224 pounds 24-29
225 to 249 pounds 26-31
250 to 274 pounds 28-33
275 to 299 pounds 29-34
300 to 324 pounds 30-35
325 to 349 pounds 31-36
More than 350 pounds 32-37

Hope this helps you

Thanks from me too. I live in New Zealand and here we get a set amount of points and have to bank some or earn some exercise ones to get more.
I wonder why you have a range, do you know??

I am not really sure why we have a range and you have a set amount. I do know that WW is different is some countries. The points for foods differ also. I think it is because of the way some foods are made differently. Also the States have different regulations regarding food than other countries and our labels on packages differs also.

Hope that helps too.

Gosh that was quick! :D

I suppose then I am better to just stick to trying to keep at the exact 20 points. Eating within a range sounds more flexible. I often do end up with 20-24 anyway but then i feel ive gone over and with you plan i would still be OK. A while back I tried to hurry things alond by eating only about 18 and you know what. After a week I stopped losing altogether. It mucked it all up and then I got too hungry and threw the whole thing in and now I am starting over again, again :o Im onto my 2nd week now and have lost 2kg.

ww at home

Hi
I'm from Canada. I can't seem to find info for ww at home. There are ww locations near me but I just can't add anything to my timetable. Does anybody have any sites I can go to to find out about points? This is a great place to talk. I go to the gym regularly, but just can't seem to drop my excess 15 pounds. I need motivation. Any info would be great. It gets harder to not eat when the snow is on the ground. Thanks
