Congrats everyone on your losses this week! I'm down 3 pounds this week (Weigh-In was monday). I'm going to go see about these Labor Day and Exercise challenges you're talking about - sounds fun!
I'm new to the WW boards (not to 3FC though). I started WW about 2 weeks ago!!! Look forward to getting to know you all!

Hello everyone! Newbie here...I started last Thursday, and Mondays I weigh in. Since starting ive lost 3lbs, however, my weight always fluctuates anyways. On day 1, I went over by 2. Today...however, was another story!!! I feel absolutely GUILTY!!! I ate out for lunch, and I was so hungry that everything caught my eye, I ended up eating at a Korean BBQ place, and came home, added it up...and I was extremely distraught!! My points went way over today's limit, and well into tomorrows!! My bf is being a jerk today and wasnt supportive at all. I went to the gym, and worked out twice as long as I normally do. Needless to say....im am severly bummed about my choices. However, im glad that im not the only one who ever goes over their points. I know its not something to celebrate, however, as soon as I opened this thread, (being a newbie) I felt a little better, not like a complete failure.

As like a few ppl here, I also suffer from depression, and the littlest things get me down. Im glad to see such a great support thread, as I know I will be needing one! Right now I feel miserable, hopefully tomorrow will be better :( *crosses fingers*

Morning everyone! Welcome LondonJulz & huniebunie! I've been coming to 3fatchicks for years - left for awhile and came back - I love this thread! The girls here are awesome! Good Luck with your WW! WW is a good plan! It's a little more "comfortable" in my opinion! You don't feel quite as restricted and theres no drugs or chalking drinks! lol! Urgh~!

huniebunie - yes - it's tough when you go over your points - and we do tend to feel awful AFTER we do it, but it was just one day! Forget it - and move forward - And you go to the gym!!!!! Kudo's to you!

mkjohn - I had to laugh when you said "you kinda liked it" after you walked!!! Too cute! Anyways - good job getting out there and walking! And getting your family out there too!:carrot: I find when I walk by myself, I always come back with a clear mind, but I too LOVE getting my gang out there! My kids are 15 & 20 so getting us altogether is a chore! EVeryone seems to be doing their own things these days! Sometimes I think that is why I get so down (and eat that bag of m&ms and potato chips), I'm having that seperation anxiety people talk about!

Thanks Mom2QJandT - thanks for the recognition! I love it! lol!

Have a great day everyone! I'm heading over to the exercise challenge to see whats going on!

Happy Hump Day:dizzy:

I am officially 40 years young and I feel great. I did well yesterday, I had a very small piece of cake and did well with my points, however, I did not exercise, but will walk tonight. Hope everyone is OP.

Don't forget your H20 and vitamins!!!

LondonJulz: Welcome, I am glad you found us. Congrats on your loss:carrot:

Huniebunie: Welcome to you to!! Congrats on your loss as well:carrot: As far as going over your points, we have all done it. Don't beat yourself up over it. Today is a new day and you will make better choices. Drink loads of water today.

Jeanne: Congrats on your loss:carrot: You go girl!!!! I am so happy for you.

Mkjohn: Exercise is wonderful for depression. Everytime I workout I really feel so good afterwards. I hope you keep it up!!!

If someone wants to start us a Halloween Goal that would be great. Or should we wait until Labor Day? It is up to you all....just count me in.

mkjohn 08-22-2007 03:32 PM

Hi ladies. Well, I didn't get my walk in last night but hopefully I will tonight as long as the weather holds out. My kids are 3,9 & 10 so they have to go with me on the walks. They seem to enjoy them as well. It gets them out of the house and they usually ride their bikes.

Daph-Happy Belated B-day!!

jar- I'm glad I made you laugh....lol

Welcome to all the newbies!

I just hope I don't overindulge in the spirits....lol!! I will weigh in tomorrow, I forgot to on Tuesday, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Hope all of you are having an OP day. Don't forget to drink that water!!

Happy Birthday Daph!!!!!

Welcome to all the newbies!!!

I weighed in today, down 1.5 from last week. Seems like all I've had lately are small losses like this. I miss the weeks where I would lose 4 and 5 pounds! I moved down to 25 points this week, but haven't really even noticed the drop.

Have a great week everyone!

Dale Junior Fan 08-23-2007 04:48 PM

Mom2: Thank you!! Congrats on your loss:carrot:

84 pounds gone so far, you must be on top of the world. I know what you mean about the small losses, seems like I am averaging about 1 pound a week:( But I will take it. Keep up the good work girl.

Dale Junior Fan 08-24-2007 01:41 PM

TGIF;)

I weighed this morning and I am down 1.2 pounds, but better than that I have lost 4.5 inches total....YIPPEE!!!!!! I am a little excited as you can tell.

We are just a bunch of losers this week and I mean that literally. I figured up and between all of us we are down 15 pounds this week!!!!! :carrot:

It is actually more than that because I didn't know how to figures INVU's loss. We are doing so great.

Keep up the good work ladies. I am off to gulp some water.

Hi,

I'm sort of "At Home". I joined WW several times when I was still working in an office. I did the At Work program. Since my money is very tight, I decided to use my materials and get back OP. I started last October with a friend. Did great for several months (lost 30 lbs at the lowest point). Well my friend had to bail (life got too complex), I had issues with a bulging disc and my motivation, discipline took a slow but steady turn downward.

Good news is I've only crept up 5 or so pounds (depending on the week) and I started exercising back in April and have kept that up 2-3 days a week. I wanted to rededicated myself to this plan (no getting off this train!) and realize that community support is probably one of my missing pieces. So I am here.

A little about me- I live in the KCMO metro area. I teach art courses at a couple of colleges and my partner and I spend our vacations camping and traveling in the southwest every chance we get (he's an amateur astronomer). I do all sorts of things arty (fiber, metals, clay) and love to cook and garden.

Ruthannie

ps- my Bday is tomorrow, so I'm saving points for a fancy brunch on Sunday with family and friends.

mkjohn 08-24-2007 02:17 PM

Hi ladies, TGIF! I have had a hard time staying OP this week. Things have been very hectic around my house. I haven't gotten a chance to get a walk in since monday, but I will get one in tonight......I promise!

Daph- when you put in that way, it does seem like we have had an awesome week so good job ladies!!

mom2- congrats on your loss, even though it was small atleast it was a loss and not a gain. you should be proud of yourself

jar- how was the slots? did you win anything? hope you had lots of fun!!

everyone have a great weekend

jar1965 08-24-2007 02:36 PM

Hi girls! 15# between us! Thats awesome!

I'm at work, but just wanted to share that I walked during my lunch hour today! It is soooooo humid here today too! Urgh!

Welcome Ruthannie! Good job maintaining that 30ish pounds off! Good Luck with starting again! Keep us posted!

Mom2QJandT - 84#######!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is marvelous! I'm so excited to get there! (I may have mentioned that before)! lol! Anyways, I can't tell you enough how awesome you are doing!

mkjohn- I'm sure it is hectic with the little ones! Enjoy your walk tonight!

The slots................hmmmmm, did someone ask how I did?!!?!? lol! Well I only took $200 and I won and additional $240!!! I was pumped! DH lost all of his plus the $60 extra I "gave" him! lol! The kids are enjoying being able to call him a loser and holding up their "L" shaped fingers over his forehead!
He just groans and walks away! Poor loser! lol!

Daph - yay on your 1.2#!!!!! You go girl!

Have a GREAT day everyone! It's Friday!

Mom2QJandT 08-24-2007 03:07 PM

Jeanne - LOL @ your DH being a "loser" that is too funny, I'm glad that you had fun. Even better that you went for a good walk! You must be feeling all kinds of good!

Daph - Great Loss!!!!

Welcome to Ruthannie! Maintaining is the hard part and it looks like you're going to be able to handle that! Good luck, post often and let us know how you are doing!

Mkjohn - As hot as it is in my part of the country I am so proud of you walking even one day in this icky, sticky week. Is it as hot where you are? We've had high 90s all week, yuck!

Thanks to everyone for all of the congrats, I really do love the support that I get here to keep going. I've said it many times, I'm my own worst critic and I get very easily discouraged. Thanks to all of you that keep me going!
