I tried weight watchers before but just didn't feel like I was getting enough points to make it doable. Under the new calculations I really think I can do it. I'm a waitress so my days are very busy and it makes more sense to calculate that in. Anyway, I'm hoping it works. Before at times I would just be starving. I tend to lose to and maintain 191-195. Then quickly gain up to the 210's if I really don't watch it. So I'm hoping I can make it to a reasonable weight and really doesn't matter how long it takes. Just as long as I get there.

Hi, Ciarra. I am new, too. Just want to share with you that I have been on the Fat Smash diet since Monday. I started it because I read the 3FC book review of it. Have not even bought the book yet, but Phase I is so simple to follow that I just did it from the info. on this site. I have lost 3#--now granted, that is all water, but I wasn't losing it any other way.....and here is what I want you to hear........I am NOT hungry. There is so much fiber in the diet (I am doing Myfitday, too), that even though I have been averaging 12 to 1200 calories, I am not hungry. I feel great. Just wanted to share that with you. WW is totally doable! One thing to keep in mind is that there are a lot of things you can eat that are zero or low point foods, swapping those out with high point foods makes things easier. :) If you like omelettes, use egg whites. If something calls for eggs, just use the whites. Add veggies in! They are filling and many are zero points. :) Find new ways to like them - or sneak them in! I love making veggie soup and then pureeing it - it's them more a creamy consistency, but without adding the fat of cream. Good luck! today was a good first day.
I ended with 29.4 points and did okay on eating. I need an extra veggie and lacking in dairy but will make small steps. I work at a Mexican restaurant and it is awesome food. I didn't eat any chips today! And I served a birthday party that offered me cake and I declined. So no chips or cake today! For me that is an acchomplishment. Anyway this was my day (please keep in mind I snack alot because I don't get a lot of time to actually sit down and eat) 1 piece whole wheat bread 1 tsp natural peanut butter Coffee Kashi granola bar grapes lean pocket philly steak with large salad (no cheese or dressing) Lunch kashi oatmeal chocolate chip cookie sunflower seeds kiwi slimfast shake (supper) and I will find a better choice but using these up and they are conveint with a lot of nutrition 1 piece whole wheat bread with natural pb. 29.4 points! According to the old system I would get 26 points with the new system it is 30 points, so I figure 30ish points is good. Oh and 60 ounces of water and one cup of green tea in addition to my coffee. |
