Calculating points on homemade chips?

Hi all,

We were at the Zoo this afternoon and they have those fresh homemade potato chips....the ones where they slice the potatos directly into the hot oil....no preservatives, etc.

How would you calculate those? I was thinking the same as full fat chips, but DH says no because they don't have the additives and preservatives in them. I know they're not good for you at all, but I'm sure I'm within point range for this rare splurge, I just want to make sure I charge myself the full points that I should!

Thanks for any suggestions on this one!!!

Unfortunately the additives and preservatives aren't were the calories are, it's mostly in the oil. The calories are going to be about the same, maybe even a little higher if they aren't drained well.

Thanks, Colleen! I only had four of the chips, but they were big, and probably come out to about an ounce (I'm figuring on the high side), so I'll figure my points and add them in!
