my soup!

  • Hey all!
    I made some soup and I'm trying to figure a rough point estimate. I made a total of 22 cups and froze it in containers that hold 2 cups each.
    cabbage
    no sodium canned tomatos
    squash
    zucchini
    spinach
    celery
    green bell pepper
    a handful of baby carrots
    fat free, low sodium chicken broth
    I put 2 cups in each freezer container. I know you guys can't give me an exact point value, but based on these ingredients, do you guys think 2 cups of this spoup would be 2 points or under? That's all I want to know--I've been figuring 2 points per 2 cups in my daily journal

  • Actually, as far as I can remember, all of the ingredients you listed are zero points, right? So, therefore, your soup would be zero points.

    It sounds pretty similar to WW zero point soup that they publish in one of the booklets you get.

  • It is close to WW zero point soup. However, I tweaked it because I can't have onions or garlic
  • my guesstimate owuld be 0 as well. the only non 0 is there is the carrots (they're 1 pt cooked) and it sounds like they don't make up a very big portion of the coup

  • yeah, I only added maybe 10 baby carrots, and those are cut in half. Thanks guys!
