Panic Mode - Ww Day 1 Tomorrow!
So I went to my first meeting today and was told I can eat 22 points. Now is it me...or does that seem like NOTHING!? I'm in total panic mode though about what to eat. I looked over the sample week 1 menu they gave me and none of it sounds good to me. I'm just stressing if this was the right decision, but I want to succeed and know I can do it.
Oh...I just don't know. Could anyone help me out with a good sample menu to try? |
You don't just get 22 points a day. After week 3 you can use exercise points and you also have 35 weekly points to use.
Try planning your meals and looking at the points for what you normally eat. You may have to adjust things you use like say light or fat free something for a regular item. |
Chose what you want from the lists - who said you have to eat the sample menus? 22 points is plenty if you make good choices. Fill up on veggies. I do Core so I don't have to count points.

you should not use your flex points till week 3? why is that? just curious can someone please explain???

I think she meant that the exercise points don't start until week 3. OK...so far so good, I have drank tea this morning and that's about it. :) Although I AM wondering...how many points for 18g of honey?

No you can use your FlexPoints AND ActivityPoints from the very first day however meeting goers unless they ask and their leader agrees do not get the Activity information until week three.

Try and plan 3 meals and 2 snacks.
In the morning I usually have one of these- 1 1/2 cups cereal with 1/2 cup of skim milk- 4 points 1pt bagel with 2% american cheese and grill under broiler- 3 points Sandwich made with 1pt sandwich bread, lettuce, thin sliced ham or turkey or FF bologna and Miracle Whip lite- usually 3 points total then a 1 point fruit snack around 9 or 10 Lunch a WW entree with a vegetable or light salad- 6-7 points or Subway sandwich- usually turkey breast/ham with FF sweet onion sauce on it. No cheese- 5 point or left over from home from the night before 1 or 2 cups of 1 or 2 point soup when I get home from work usually 2-4 points. One of my worst snack times, so I try to off set it. Dinner: I usually make a low fat, low cal dinner I try to stay around 5-6 points, a little more if I did'nt use a lot of points during the day Bedtime snack: 1 point fruit snack 2 point Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich Always keep low point options available, so they are handy in case of a snack attack! Start exercising, that really helps and I like to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. Good luck to you! |
