Trader Joe's?

I know this has been covered to death, but we finally got a Trader Joe's in our area. It just opened up three weeks ago and I've already been there three times! I know they have a ton of great low point foods. Does anybody have a list of their favorites to share?

Thank you!!!!

Lori

  • almonds/nuts
  • pinjur, it's a roasted red pepper spread with a kick that's AMAZING on veggies (with laughing cow)
  • laughing cow cheese
  • spinach feta pizza (to die for), it's not a really strong feta taste
  • frozen fish
  • frozen fruits for smoothies
  • chocolate protein powder
  • whole wheat english muffins
  • i like their teas/coffees
  • tortilla chips
  • frozen mixed peppers (amazing for grilling, stir-frys, omlets)
  • meatless meatballs (i heard their turkey meatballs are good too)
  • meatless corn dogs
  • dr. praeger's california burgers.

i'm a bit of a trader joe's brat. i also really like their beauty products, and next time i go, i'm trying their salad dressings. there's a cilantro one that has peaked my interest.

oh, and all the snack food...yeah because it's "healthy" i can't be tempted to buy it because i want to eat it all the first day. but i know some people love their snacks.

I'll add their frozen eggplant parmesan -- the single portion tray is only 2 points, and it's filling and incredibly yummy. I add a little extra grated parm and up the points to 3. Excellent bring-to-work lunch.
