Yikes! Oil Points? Help, please!

Hello all! I am in my second week of WW and love it! It occurred to me today that I have not been counting oil in my points. Should I be doing that? I KNOW all that oil has to add up to something!

Hi,
every calorie that you eat pretty much adds up to points.
You should have your first week booklet and it should have points for most items including oil. The only things that are pointless are some veggies, maybe some fruits, and sugar free jello, that kinda stuff..
i would definitely recommend you getting the restaurant/fast food guide, and the grocery guide...and the point tracker(the cardboard slider one)
God Bless

yes oil is 120 cal/10-14 fat/0 fiber per tablespoon but W/W (and nutritionists and dieticians) require only 2 teaspoons (2/3 of a tablespoon).

oil sprays

I'm not sure if you have access to a Trader Joe's in your area but they have canola and olive oil sprays that are really cool. you can spray the pan without using nearly as much oil.

You guys have good points about the 0pt cooking oils, but as far as the healthy oil amounts that you should be getting in... yeah, you need to count those points in too.

WW recommends you get in 2 tsp of healthy oils a day. That should add up to 2 points a day. (unless you find some oil that's somehow less, but still counts as a healthy serving... every time I've checked a 1 tsp serving has been 1pt.)
At least that's been the case with the oils I have choosen, which are: Sunflower, Canola, and Olive Oil.

I would have tried out the others, but those 3 are cheap and easy to find. :)
