Knorrs Spinach Dip Points?
 

Does anybody know the points value for this popular spinach dip (prepared with real sour cream and mayo?)

I ate a bunch of it :( at a party yesterday and I am trying to estimate the points.

with real sour cream and mayo it comes to 2 pts per 1 tablespoon. 93 calories and about 7.5 grams of fat per Tablespoon.. YIKES!

I ran some numbers on a recipe that I found and came up with about 10 pts for a half cup and I am figuring that I had at least a half to 3/4 cup....so much for healthy snacking!!!! I never make it with the full fat sour cream or mayo, myself, and now I know why! It really does make a huge difference when you take the time/expense to use healthy ingredients.

I know what you mean. Before I started WW I used to eat this stuff ALL the time and always made it with full fat sour cream and mayo. And I would only eat it with the fresh from the bakery sourdough breads and french breads...I don't even want to know how many points I used to consume! lol We all are intitled to our little "slip ups" and indugences though. Even if it seems like a big one, it is nothing that can't be fixed with a little extra exercise and more careful food planning. glad I could help! :)
