WW points / calories?

OK,
One thing I am a little confused about I am currently on ww and was just wondering if anyone knew how to figure out the point to calorie thing? Example: if I have a 35 point day how many calories would that be? Just wondering.

1750 cal approx.
A point is approx 50 cal. But you also need to take in consideration that the freebie food you eat does contain Calories also.

When I was on 22-29 or so points a day I was literally not even getting 1200 cals some days and very little fat.It didn't really make sense to me(seemed to small) but then again I am wrong alot.

Point Range Converted to Calories
(This isn't always 100% true because of fat & fiber)

18-25 points = 1050-1400 calories
20-27 points = 1150-1500 calories
22-29 points = 1250-1600 calories
24-31 points = 1350-1700 calories
26-33 points = 1450-1800 calories
28-35 points = 1550-1900 calories

Go over to the WW General forum for a discussion there. Kelly's response is a good range... but you should also know that:

One point could be as low as 20 calories or as high as 110 calories.

Your best bet is to focus on a nicely well-rounded food plan that includes ALL the basic food groups, and does not exclude any particular categories. If you get in your veggies (most are zero, some are 1, 2, or 3 pts a serving but all have calories) and fruits (all are at least 1 point) AND include fats (you should target yourself for 2 to 3 points a day in added fat -- oil, salad dressing, butter, etc.) you'll do fine.

Theoretically, you could eat 400 calories a day on 20 points or as many as 2200... so the range is a little "dubious" which is why WW doesn't incorporate calorie lists... In any event. Kelly's information is absolutely on target (for averages' sake) and you can plan accordingly. Good luck! :-)
