What is Mastercook

I have been looking at the recipes & alot of people talk about "Mastercook". Can someone tell me what it is? And if it is something that is really useful in finding out points for foods, If so where can I get it. How much does it cost?
Thanks alot!!

Mastercook (http://www.mastercook.com) is software that you install on your computer, and it stores recipes for you. It usually comes with a lot of recipes, but you can also add your own. It has a built in nutrition database, so it will tell you how many calories (etc) each serving has. You will have to use the cal, fat, fiber to tally the points on your own. There is another software program called Living Cookbook that will give you point values, though I'm not sure how much longer they'll be able to offer that feature, since WW Legal dept usually stops that sort of thing. They only want you to subscribe to their online service and use their tools.

Hope that helps :)
