I've gotten conflicting information on this subject. Do your leaders consider Crystal Lite to count towards your water intake for the day?

Our leader advises us that we can count non-caffeinated drinks like crystal light for no more than one half of our daily water. We have to get at least half of our 'water' from actual WATER.

When I attended meetings, my leader said the same thing: water must make up half of the total intake.
My OB has cautioned me, though, to watch the carbohydrate count too. I never realized how high the amount of carbs really are in sugar free beverages. |
If you look at page 7 in the Program Basics Book (1-2-3 Success) or page 45 in Focus on the 10% Difference (10% Difference) or page 18 in Getting Started (Winning Points):
"Any type of water - plain, sparking, club soda,and unsweetened, flavored seltzer - counts. You can also have 3 of your 6 glasses as juice, milk, decaffeinated beverages or any other beverage that doesn't contain alcohol. Just be sure to count the points." |
