Splenda - Sugar Blend for Baking
 
Anyone use this?? I'm thinking about using it in most of my reciepes, but need to know if it's good or not.. thanks!

Completely non diet related, but I use it for cookies and it works fine - tastes and looks just like granular sugar. :) I have no idea how good a product it is for use with WW, but I am maintaining and just trying to cut out a little of the sugar here and there. :)

I have not paid that much attention to it because I use baking sugar (fine sugar) for baking and not try to modify. But I have only heard good things about it. I know it is 1/2 and 1/2 so I am not sure what the points are on it.

Isn't WW a new lifestyle change, and really shouldn't be called a diet? I feel that way anyways. I'm trying to save my some some points using this.. it's half the calories than regular sugar, and rearanging my recipes, I have found that it does lower some recipes more than others in points..

I used it in a batch of cookies over the holidays. It tasted okay, however the texture of the cookie was different. Lot's of people commented that it tasted different. I think next time I will go back to using regular sugar.

Patience:

I've used the sugar blend and like it much better than using the regular Splenda. My family couldn't tell the difference and I used it in my nutrolls and other cookies for the holidays.
