How many Calories are in 1 point....?

I'm on 26 a day. Does anyone know the math for how many calories is 1 point w/0 sat. fat and 1 point w/ 1.0 sat. fat. Thanks in advanced

1 pt is approximately 50 calories.
1 g. fat is 9 calories
1 g of carbohydrates is 4 calories
1 g. of protein is 4 calories

I would say if it was a non-fibery food, it would be 40 calories of protein and carbs (you get to chose what the ration of those 10 grams are) and 1 g. of fat (fat has 9 calories per gram).

40+9=49, close enough.

I do have a list posted on my ezboard but it is down for maintenance.

It is not exactly 50 calories per point but it is a good average. I will post it later in the day for you.

It depends on the calories, fat and fiber. Something with, say 100 cal. 3 fat. 0 fiber is 2 Points, whereas if the same item had 4 grams of fiber, it would be one Point. Hope that helps...

Thanks for your help. I got a good basic understanding. I'll check back Kelly to look at your numbers.
Once again thanks everyone for your time.

Points Converted to Calories (This isn't always 100% true because of fiber)

18 = 1050
20 = 1150
22 = 1250
24 = 1350
26 = 1450
28 = 1550
25 = 1400
27 = 1500
29 = 1600
31 = 1700
33 = 1450
35 = 1900

AND THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE 200-250 CALORIES A DAY THAT W/W BUILT INTO THE PROGRAM FOR FREE VEGGIES.
