Default HELP! Trying to find Light 100% Whole Wheat Bread

I used to eat Arnold Bakery Light 100% Whole Wheat bread which was 1 point for 2 slices. I wasn't eating as many sandwiches for a while & didn't buy it for about a month. Suddenly, I can't find it anywhere anymore. And there aren't any other Light 100% Whole Wheat Breads that are 1 point for 2 slices. I even checked the Arnold website and I don't see it there. Has everyone gone so low-carb crazy that these new breads have crowded out the old? The light "wheat" breads are no better for you than eating white bread, they still have the enriched white flour in them. All the nutrients are broken down. If anybody has found a bread that fits my needs, please tell me.

Orowheat makes a whole wheat light bread.

I'm not sure where its distributed. I'm on the west coast.

Yeah, I found out about Oroweat on the web. They are apparently only on the west coast though. They're east coast version is, of course....Arnold, which I can't find anymore. I'm very frustrated by this dilema. I don't feel like I should have to compromise my healthy food choices when I know what I want exists. Thanks for your input. Anybody else have any suggestions?

Red face

I found Healthy Life 100% whole wheat bread at Wal-Mart and it is only 1 point for 2 slices!! 70 calories, 1/2 g fat, 5 g dietary fiber per serving (2 slices)!! It is the only bread my sister and her family will eat!
I hope you can find it on the east coast! I am in the Midwest

Good luck!!

Natural Grain and Nature's Own 100% whole wheat breads aren't labled as "light" but they're still 1 point for 2 slices.

Oh, thanks for the ideas. I will check all those breads out here locally. Of course, since Hurricane Frances, bread is in short supply.

I use Sara Lee's Delightful 100% Whole Wheat Bread. 90 calories from 2 slices 5 grams of fiber total points I believe is 1. Down side is that the slices are thin, but I prefer a thinner denser bread.

enjoy,
