Default WW Points change when you add extra ingredients

Say on a box of pancake mix it gives you the ingredients and you calculate your WW Points for that item. Does that mean if you add additional ingredients such as eggs and oil that you have to then calculate the WW points for those items.
The package says one pancake would be 2 points. It also says on the package to add eggs and oil. So does adding these two items increase the points or does the nutrient guide on the package include these items.

Usually the nutritional info on the back is for the dry ingredients in the box/bag only. If you add eggs/oil then that's extra. I have seen it where they have 2 sets of numbers and one includes milk or whatever that would normally be added but then it specifies that. If it doesn't say anything then I would say it's what's in the box only.

Agreed with jcourtney. It's just for the mix unless otherwise specified. As an example, the nutritional label for the breakfast drink I make has two sets of values. The first is the mix alone, the second specifies it's if you make it with exactly 1 cup of fat free milk.

The company making the mix doesn't know for sure what size eggs you're using, or what brand of oil or whatever else you're using (or percent milk). Different products will have different values so they can't really make an overall statement unless they get very specific, and then it'll be stated on the box.
