Calculating points

I just joined WW this past Monday, so I'm still getting a hang of tracking and figuring out the point values for items that I make. Tonight I am making a Spicy Taco recipe found on the WW website and I want to include Scalloped Potatoes with it - they are made from the box. I tried entering the info from the box into the calculator and was given the value of 2pts but does that account for the butter & milk that is put into it? If not then the value is 7pts for 1/2cup of potatoes.

Just want to make sure I'm doing this right!

I just looked up betty crocker scalloped potatoes nutritional info and it calculated to 3 points per half cup

I went to the WW website and tried to find the Spicy Taco recipe that had scalloped potatoes in it and couldn't find anything.

It's called Spicy Beef Tacos. I just wanted to add scalloped potatoes as a side item.
