Points question

When you are figuring out the points for a certain food--as an example--it is 1.2 or 1.7---do you count it as 1?
I remember when I went to WW a few years ago & you used the slide rule thing & when the answer was in between 1 & 2 --you counted it as 1. Is that the way it's done now or are you supposed to round it off?

We were told to round up, April; don't know what anyone else has been told.

I would say, if it is 1.4 or below, I would round down to 1, and if it was 1.5 or above, I would round to the next highest. That is just me, but it seems to balance out just fine.

if it falls within the 1 point range.. it's 1 point.. simple!

call ww - the answer will be the same. if you had something that was .4 you wouldn't count it as zero, would you?

just remember... you can play with the points all you want - but the scale doesn't lie. Be consistant for a while and judge yourself. When ww changed their program a while ago they started limiting fiber. I am sticking with the old program where they didn' t limit fiber. Sure, I might not lose as fast - but I'm still losing. The way I see it is, the longer it takes for me to take it off the better the odds that I will keep it off.

I'm sure you will have lots of answers to your question.. just use your best judgement.

Thanks everone for your replies. I think I might call WW tomorrow. I remember when I went to WW a few years ago--they never talked about partial points.
I will do what Dana said. If it falls between 1 & 2---then I will count it as 1 point--as an example.

I round up or down depending which side of 0.5 it is on.
