What are Activity Points?

Went to my first meeting last Wed and bought the 2010 starter kit. The 3 month journal has a space for something called activity points. I have also read about these on this site. Is this something that I will be taught after I am on the program for a while?

They were not mentioned at my first meeting. Can someone tell me what they are, how they are used and how they are gained? :broc:

If you check in the back of your pocket guide it will show you how to figure your activity points. It is the points you gain from exercise. Say you did low intensity for 30 minutes and you weigh 210. You would be able to get 2 more points value. I hope this helps. I have been doing weight watchers for a year now and have lost 75 lbs. I am struggleing with the same 5 lbs for over 2 months. I just found this website and I hope it helps... Goodluck...

Hannahs Nana -

Thank you. But one more question? When I signed up and we sat down to fill out the little form to determine how many points we get each day, there was a section on activity level. Is this the same thing? Because if it is, the Momentum program might be including this as part of the overall points??

It part of the quiz for people who have very active Jobs.

So no its not part of the overall points. When you exercise you will earn activity points.
