measuring cooked pasta (for points)

how do you guys measure cooked pasta, esp. spaghetti & rigatoni? The measurements on the box are for dry, but who wants to sit there & count out & weigh exactly how much they will need dry?!?! If I say I had one cup cooked spaghetti, is it 8 oz. if i weight it? know what i mean?

Thanks for your help.

if it is dry you do the weighing on the scale. If it is cooked (2 ounces dry will yield about 1 cup [sometimes a bit more]) you do it in a measuring cup. 1 cup = 4 points.

The best way to do it is to weigh it one time dry, cook it the way you like it and then measure it in a cup or weigh. Usually you'll find you don't get much. No where near 8 ounces.
