HELP!! Baked Potato
I have no idea what the nutrition info is on one...and the guide gives you only a baked potato from like a restaurant that's 10 points.
There is no way one baked potato is that much...can anyone help? It's just an avg size, medium I would say. It's Yukon Gold, dunno if that makes a diff... ? |
one cooked, large (5" or 7") is 3 points

Thank you! :)

Doesn't the book make your furious? The new Eat Wisely book lists all types of potatoes (baked w/veggies and cheese), but not a plain baked potato!
Ugh. truelies is right, though: a smallish/medium baked potato should be about 3 pts. However, if it's really big, it can go to 5 or 6. If you have the Dining Out Companion, look it up under the entry for Wendy's restaurant. I've got an old copy of the book and it lists a plain baked potato at 5 pts, but keep in mind that they've got some pretty big spuds. |
If you are making it at home your packaging has nutritional information on it. Both the old and the new Food Companions as well as the week 1 book has it in there.

This particular bag of potatoes didn't have the nutritional info. :( |
well thats good to know, I love baked potatoes!

I had a baked potato with salsa yesterday and it was surprisingly good. I would have preferred the butter/sour cream thing but I was open minded! I'll definitely have it again - especially when I need to feel full and have flavor!
