Subway
Hello, I'm new to this and still trying to figure everything out.
I've looked in my book and online and I cannot find the points total for Subway Pepperoni. I usually have the following sandwich: 6 Inch Turkey on Wheat/White Lettuce, Pickles, & Vinegar Which I show is 5 points However, there are times when I add pepperoni and I have no clue what that makes my sandwich total. They put 2 large pepperoni on the sandwich and I cannot even find the calories for those to use the calculator. Any ideas? Additional 2? |
I would estimate the weight of the pepperoni on your sandwich, look up pepperoni in the Complete Food Guide, and use that number.
Or go to Subway.com -- they have very complete nutritional information about each and every item that goes on their sandwiches. You can figure the points that way. |
I just looked on the Subway site and DWLZ. I don't see plain pepperoni listed anywhere except on the pizza toppings. They use small pepperonis for that though don't they? Or do they chop them up?

I think what you're looking for is called sandwich pepperoni, the big slices, right? According to Calorieking it's about 4 pts. per oz., 140 calories, 12 grams of fat for one brand, 130 calories 14 grams of fat for another brand. That would be my guesstimate, and I probably wouldn't make a habit of it. too much fat.

1 oz would be several slices. Your best bet is to ask at the subway and see if they can provide or even just shoot of an e-mail to Subway from the website. They respond quickly.

Subway's Italian sub 6" has 480 cal 25fat and 5 fiber. It has salami and pepperoni on it-so-if none of the posts above worked for you, you could get the points for the Italian subj and go between the 5 pts for your subj and what ever the Italian comes out to.

sorry ***sub*** NOT subj
