Does anyone know if the Wendie plan has changed since WW has changed? When I was first doing WW, I was eating 28 but with the new system, I have to eat 34.

Well, after two weeks of diligent counting I lost 1.5kg! That's 3.3 pounds! Which may not sound like much, but I haven't enjoyed WW so much in years! So I'm pleased, and will continue this way as long as it works. I must say though, I really feel like I've lost more than that. My clothes are much looser than only 1.5kg!

I didn't follow the Wendie plan EXACTLY, but I did make sure there were a few days last week that I ate ALL my points, including Flex (which I never do), and after a while stuck at 262, I FINALLY broke through and lost another five pounds! I'm going to keep it up!

Do you have a link to this wendie's plan, I would also like to give it a try.

Thank you.

i am trying the wendie plan this week, very nervous about it, always ahve doen flex, but i restrictr myself to only daily points, i dont eat activity points or weekly points, i work out a lot and have been told i need to eat more, so i thought i would try the wendie plan because it has those extra point built into and it will make me use more points...

BizMax - Everyone I've known that didn't use any flex or activity points had a much harder time losing weight and breaking through plateaus. It is sort of scary having that one really high day on the wendie plan, but it works! My only suggestion is that you schedule your weekly WI before that high day. Since I do my WI on Saturday mornings, I schedule the high day for Saturday and it gives me a little more flexibility if we want to go out that night.

When I started WW, I did the wendie plan and only had one week that I didn't lose any weight before I reached goal. I did only have 25# to lose, so I can't say how long I could have kept losing, but I still do the wp when my weight creeps up. I have lots of energy, don't feel deprived, and look healthy too.

thanks! thats what i did too, i weigh in on saturday morning so my SHD was saturday starting after weigh in, i have followed it all week so far but the closer i get to saturday the more anxious i get, i am sure it will work just very nervous about the increased intake of food, i run 3 days a week and elliptical and weights the days i dont run and have at leas 64oz of water every day as well, so i hope it all pays off!

Hi everybody, I've read alot about the Wendie Plan and am going to give it a try. A quick question though...so, embarrassing to say but true, I ate 60 points (YIKES) yesterday (I am going to chalk that up to me feeling really disappointed about a zero lb loss at WW the day before (note to self: work on emotional eating!!)...I'm wondering if I should just chalk this hugely high day to being the SHD and then follow you the formula for the remainder of the week? Does anyone have any experience with this? Much appreciated!!

i tried this plan this last week! stayed on what the points said, had my SHD on the first day to have it as far away from weigh in day as possible worked out every day and still just lost .8 i am so frustrated!!!

change in your work out routine can cause water retention in the muscles thus showing smaller losses or even gains additionally a safe healthy rate of weight loss is .5-2 pounds a week...guess what you fall in the average range.

BlzMaxGnrCCJkMly 02-24-2008 01:04 PM

yeah i know that but it wasnt a change in my workout i have been working out every day for over a month now...

The wendie plan is not some miracle diet that's going to make you lose more weight that any others. It's still pretty much the same points per week as WW, just arranged a little differently. I doubt you'll lose weight faster, but you're less likely to plateau (or at least get over it faster). Calories burned still equals pounds lost, so hang in there. A healthy loss is generally accepted to be .5 to 2 lbs per week, so .8 is reasonable.

And sevansgreen92, if you blew it on the SHD just get yourself back on track with the regularly scheduled points. When I do that I usually try to be really consistent with my exercise for the next week or so. I don't expect to do more than break even at your next WI.
