The Inch Loss Thread
Ooh, we can call ourselves TILT. I'm sure someone out there can come up with a better acronym though...
Hokey - why not copy and paste the list below into your reply and then fill in the details. Update your details weekly, but add them as an extra column rather than delete your previous ones. we want to see those losses! Use any units you like, inches probably easiest. right, time for anyone that has already posted their measurements to give us an update. anyone that hasn't - now's your chance to start.
here's the latest on me: Date: 19 Aug 2000, 19 Sept 2001, 3 October 2001 Height: 5 ft 9 Bust(fullest part): 41, 36, 36 Waist: 32, 28, 28 Hips: 44, 37, 36.5 Thigh: 25, 21.5, 21 Upper arms: 12.5, 11.5, 10.5 so, hip hip hooray - i've lost a bit on my hips and thighs (my least favourite zones). how's everyone else doing? |

So after doing this and having myself a huge cry I decided to post my horrible measurements. I'm trying to be brave and am hoping that this will give me the jumpstart and kick in the butt I need. RIght now I don't feel too optomistic but I hope in a month these will be different numbers. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I'll get my body moving....

Would be nice is I could attribute all of the change to that! Very weird how my waist measurement actually decreased! Weird. Next time everything better have a decrease! I know its my own fault though and I'm seriously working on it. -Anybody else have an update? March 17th I decided to measure myself again now that I have actually committed myself to exercise. Not too many changes in the numbers since November but I'm not suprised since how much of that time was I not following the program-too much of it! Anyway here are my current measurements. I'll update them again in a month & we'll see how my first month of regular exercise affected my measurements. I'm actually looking forward to measuring again which is odd because usually I dread it so much. I also added a couple of other measurements that I want to start keeping track of. Just wanted to say you girls are doing GREAT! I am so impressed. I will join you as soon as I stop growing out! I am very round now. Maybe I will take a measure right before I deliver so I can have ahuge drop really fast. Maybe that will make me feel good.
Anyway, I was also seeing we are a very tall group. Lots of us girls in 5'8", 5'9", and 5'10". I am 5'10" myself. wow,that is funny. Trish |

Funny...
I was going through some of my old journals and I found a sticky note stuck in one with some of my measurements from October 29th last year. The weird thing is I weigh 3lbs more than I did last year and my hips are 4 inches smaller! Cool! My bust is a quarter inch larger this year and my waist is the same as last year. Interesting.

Update!
OK-it's only been five weeks, but I bought a tape measure yesterday....I have lost only 2 lbs in the past five weeks...depressing, but the measurements have changed, so I am happy about that....Here they are3...and if anyone can explain the ankle, let me know-I wasn't swollen at all!!! I added a new measurement-stomach-midway between the navel and the pelvic bone crease...

I don't know if anyone is still doing this but I decided to give it a shot again. I updated my measurements & will do so again in a month. I figure since I have actually committed myself to exercise now there are bound to be some changes :) Plus it helps that I'm counting points & journalling rigidly :) If anyone else wants to update their measurements or join in here feel free.

I haven't really been keeping up with measurements, but I'm going to start taking them every month now and posting them on this thread. I have some measurements from when i started for hips/waist - but the others i'm going to start keeping track of now. i am really surprised by the inch loss, it's really uplifting to see this.
