Today was good, too hot to do much except clean the house, but eating was ok, am getting ready to go eat some cucumbers right now!!

Jen I love Toronto we go there frequently. Taking the train from Windsor is cool for us. Love the shows and great food. Glad you had fun.

She had a girl named her Violet Claire 6lb14 oz lots of sandy blond hair cleft in chin and perfect in every way of course I am very prejuidiced.

Went swimming today really jogging in pool and walked the mall stayed within points. Love it when things are easy. Just pray I stay with this!!!!!

Misty good thing to focus on our blessings. Man just talk to others and what they are going thru and you are right our lives are Blessed even when sometimes people don't get us. Went to the cheap show today and saw the Break UP so sad when people just don't communicate.

luflic - oh I love that name! Sounds like a very cute little girl. Good job with your exercising.

Donna - good exercising for you as well. With this hot weather indoor walking is about all I would do too.

Good day yesterday but very tiring. I did well with my plan all the way around. My eating was okay, I didn't binge last night, just had some cheese and crackers for a snack. I didn't get into the cookies and ice cream so I feel okay with cheese and crackers. Don't know what we are up to today, it rained overnight so it is not quite as hot as it's been so we should be able to get outside to do something. Take care all, have a great day!

Hi! I don't have a lot of time, but I wanted to reply to you, Misty....

Thanks for the input!!!! He said that I'm actually at the lowest 10 percentile. So, in essence 90% of the people at my height and age group weigh less than me. 139 would put me at 50%. Doesn't that seem so low?! He came up with this number by measuring the size of my body frame and body fat percentage. It's frightening. I'm actually doing better with the thought of it than I was before. My personal goal has always been 150-155, so I'm going to try a bit harder to get down to there and then reassess.

Back home so hopefully get back into routine.
The temps broke here today after storms so hopefully everyone is feeling some relief.
Misty are you eating a funnel cake????? How is the fair going?
Ahhhh to weigh 150 that is my dream goal. That is what I weighed when I got married.

Steph-I think this guy is off. First 90% of what population? He must only have a small sample size. I mean almost what 50% of people are obese nationally right? So statistically if you break it down it'd pan out to somewhere around that for the height brackets, right? I failed statistics once and passed with a D the second time to meet my graduation requirements, so I could be way wrong LOL...we all know my math skills, they are right up there with my spelling LOL. Anyway, I think it's wrong. I told me DH about it and he was like WHAT, NO WAY that's too low. I think your ultimate goal of 150 is more reasonable though 160's is something to be proud of!

Well being poor has it advantages...I can't afford funnel cake LOL. Instead of being there for hours on end every day while my husband chats with farmers and friends we've gone only twice this week b/c we have NO money until dh gets paid today. We'll go again for fireworks on Saturday, and we have a family picnic Sunday. But, I did have one funnel cake on Wednesday and you know what, it wasn't that great and I didn't finish it LOL.

Isn't is cool when you want something like funnel cake which I loooove also and then you get it and it isn't all that great. I am so proud of you for leaving some of it! I want to get there I am so dumb I would finish it and complain not as good emmmm one day I will grow up!

With all this heat in most of the country, you'd think we'd all be sweating off our weight, wouldn't you? I read somewhere not too long ago that one of the reasons more of the population is overweight is because of air conditioning. Our ancestors didn't have the option of sitting around in a cool house when it was hot. Their bodies burned calories trying to keep cool, even if they were sitting still, they were still in the heat.

Nice way to put positive spin on this horrendous hot weather. At least we should be sweating it off. I just know when we were kids air wasn't in homes can't imagine living without air now! I have asthma so would be dead. Thank God for air!

It isn't as humid here today and only about 84 so actually nice. Hope you guys are having a wonderful week end.

Hey chicks, just a quick note, we have a derby tonight, so i gotta be quick. I am picking up my treadmill this week, and I am getting a new tattoo!! It is going on my right foot, it's a fairy sitting in a flower. I am so excited!! We are getting money saved up for our trip to Tenn. in october. I have 2 pairs of jeans that I should fit into by then, hopefully they will even be a little lose on me, lol. I know we will do tons of walking down there too, so I can get plenty of exercise.

Oh Donna by October they can be falling off of ya! What kind of derby?

Stayed on program this is big for me! Ate out Friday night and today!! Didn't touch the bisquits at Red Lobster I love those!!!! sorry for bragging on myself but this is huge for me.

Way to go on staying away from the biscuits at RL, they are my fave too. The derby I am talking about is a demolition derby. It's a loud, muddy sport, but my DH loves it, and so do I!!
