Greetings,
We needed a new thread since the other was getting lengthy.

Don't you wish that we were all with Laura! I've never been to Rome--hey--I've never been to Europe. It sounds like she's having a ball.

Tammy, how was your meeting?

Tonight, I'm lost without a husband snoring in the chair. :) He called when he arrive at his dad's house. He had a good trip with good weather. It's not like he'll be gone a week or anything. He'll be home Sunday night. I just want to complain.

Y'all probably get sick & tired of hearing me complain about not exercising. Guess what.....I just finished cleaning house. It took 2 hrs. and I'm hot, sweaty and very hungry. Yea!!!

Hi all!
My meeting was great the other night. Lots of talking, laughter, and tears. I have another Emmaus get-together tonight.

My brother, SIL, and their boys are coming here about 4;00. We're having pizza, and then we will be finalizing our Michigan plans. We are leaving at 7:30 in the morning. We will return sometime Friday.

Tim and I took Kramer to the Doggy Hotel this morning. Hated to leave him, but I know he'll be fine.

Hoping to get plenty of walking in this week and watch the eating more than I did at Disney World!
What a pig I was!!!!

Had a good day. We took our car in to the shop. I have an Escort rent car. I need to put some popouri in it to get that funny smell out. Why do rent cars all smell weird?

I forgot to check in the last few days. Duh!!!!!!

Hope everyone is doing good. I haven't done anything too exciting. Just the same ole things.

My husband is out of town too. He'll be home Friday night late. I think I going to visit my brother on Saturday. He lives about 2 1/2 hrs. away.

My food has been really good but I haven't lost. Actually gained .4 this week. This is when I have given up in the past. I hit the 10 pound plateau. I hope it doesn't stick around too long. I want to make it to goal and plan on it.

Hi all! We pulled in our driveway about 6:00 tonight. Left Mackinaw City, Michigan about 9;00 this morning. We made 4 small stops (2 sandwich stops, 1 potty stop, and 1 to get Kramer from the Doggy Hotel). We made great time. There were a few construction areas, but nothing that had traffic backed up.

I love it up there. I guess that's why we go so often. (every year or two) We've already decided that we'll probably go somewhere else next summer, but you never can tell.

I did great on the food and water except for one meal and I felt miserable afterwards. It was a buffet and we all got our money's worth. We went to play putt-putt golf afterwards. It is so hard to bend over when you feel miserable.

Needless to say, I didn't get weighed this week. I'll wait until next Thursday and see what damage was done on the trip. Can't be as bad as when I went to Disney though!!!!

Glad you are back Tammy! It sounds like you had a lot of fun! I hate that miserable feeling from over eating. Buffets kill me.......

Tina, did you get your car back? What's wrong with it ...... did you tell or did I just forget?

We are a very quiet bunch lately. :(

I ran by school today to chat with my principal. I have to go to a 3 day workshop next week and will be presenting. He said, wow you look great and you're not limping!!! I don't know which part I was more pleased with.

My knee is doing great. I'm being very careful. I'm exercising on my bike. I have to admit, I didn't do it for 2 days. I got on it today!!!

Tammy, welcome back. I'm glad you had such a great time. How is Kramer? Was he traumatized?:)

Susan, our car is still in the shop. I was hoping Larry would call them today but he was swamped at work. The car is in for repair after that woman in a Mercedez ran into my back end while I sat at a stop light! The estimate said it'd just take 3 days to fix. They must've found more damage under the car. :(

Hey, I only had one Diet Coke today!!!!!

I wondered if it was in the shop for that very reason. Hopefully you will get it back soon with everything fixed.

I can't believe that I'm still awake and not even the slightest bit sleepy. Guess I'll go read my book, then I know for sure I'll fall asleep! :)

Tina,

He got back yesterday about 1:00. I met him for lunch and then switched cars with him. His band was playing last night so he came in around 3:00 am. I'm running over to my brother's for the night in Kilgore. It's about 2 1/2 hours away. Guess I'll see him (hubby) on Sunday.

I stayed up and watched tv. Of course nothing was on. Read a little until I got sleepy.

Have a great weekend. I'll post again tomorrow when I get home.

Group, what is going on?
No one is posting anything--including me. ;)

I've had a busy few days and I imagine everyone else has since no one is saying anything.

Today I start an online course on Desktop Publishing offered by Barnes & Noble University. Yes, the book store has an online school. The courses are free. You must buy the books-that's the catch. I was "urged" to improve my knowledge by taking this course. There are 3 books used. It looks interesting.
I'll be so busy studying that I won't think about food. :lol:

Well, I'm here!!!

I've had to work the last couple of days. School starts next Thursday. Kids start on the 20th. Can't believe it is time already!!!! :)

Tina, that's great about your class! A couple of years ago, I went back to school to work on my Master's only to improve myself and it was a personal goal. I succeeded last August!!! I was so proud of myself!! :D I love learning!!!

Hope everyone is doing good and enjoying their time!! Please post soon, we miss you guys!!!!
