Woo Hoo. I got a doc appt in a few ours. (primary) Hopefully he will be happy I lost at least 10 pounds since I saw him a few months ago. Then I go walking, take son to his paperwork for his job and then hubby and I are going into Reno to celebrate our news. :D

Hey all... Monday for me, which means I am doing my 3 day quick start to see if I can get my booty in gear. I have to wait until Wednesday to weigh in because of work and kids. I am a little anxious to see where I am at since I missed last week. I feel good about it tho!!!
Kate, I would love to come meet you. I am flying out of Milw. when I go on vacation because we got AWESOME rates from there that we couldn't get from here. And I do the no rules days also. One day will not bring a person down and it also prevents you from binging other times. Just remember to set some limits!!! Flower, let us know how the doc appt. goes!! Have fun celebrating. Are you hoping for a girl??? I have 2 girls and would love a boy, but for now we are not trying. We are happy with 2 (and the girls are great fun!) Speaking of which, hubby freaked out a bit this weekend. He said he can tell he lives in a house of all girls. The shower curtain rod was full of hanging bras, tights and dance leotards. It was quite funny!!! OK gotta run. Guess I better actually work while I am here! |

OK My weekend
1 rained elephants 2 we found a townhouse to rent which is 2 X the size of our apartment and we'd have a basement and a garage 3 we got soaked but we saw U2!!!!! (I have a mad crush on the edge) They were AMAZING MINDBLOWING! :love: we danced and sang all night and when Bono Introduced the band He asked "and who plays bass?" and Everyone in Madison Square Garden Screamed THE EDGE so fun! yesterday we just lazed around and snuggled OH! I found my new favorite mid morning snack I usually get a coffee with Skim from D&D every morning this morning I brought a SF FF cocoa and when I was about 1/3 way down on my coffee and it was around 11 I put the cocoa in and heated it up CRavings GONE! :D oh and I have a new goal on top of all of the others I want to be 166 by January 2 I figure if I have a goal directly following the season of gluttony it will help me stay OP bbl Kierie |
Docs appt went well. I did have to change some mediciations. (high blood pressure) Get an antibiotic for a uti, prenatals. Synthroid stays the same. Went to my obgyn's office and they ordered my blood work. Did that, my first appt is Oct 21st. Starting to feel more real.

Hey all... day 2 of my 3 day quick start and I am doing OK. I am tired, but that is non related. I do crave because I am limited in what I eat, but that is what it is all about. I need to get myself back on track eating wise!!!
KO... Hey girl... is the the 180's I see in your siggy!!!!! Awesome! I haven't been able to weigh the last couple of weeks, but tomorrow is my date unless work goes nuts and I can't make it!!! Flower... yah on the appt. So when would you be due?? My Kate was an April baby and that was a great time to have a baby (at least I thought so). But then again, Emma was an October baby and that was a great time too!!! I guess I better get some work done since I am quite a bit behind (like always!!) |

I am so freakin tired! I guess it goes with the territory. I ran around from 7am to 9 pm last night. I literally colapsed in bed. I felt like I hadn't laid down in a week. lol Lots of shopping, errands ect. Unfortunately, I have a busy week everyday. I hope I am able to get in walking sometime. We went to Panda Express, and I figured the points out before hand. Habits will die hard. Guess it is still smart to understand what is going into my mouth. |

Fantastic new Flower...Congrats!
I have boys also and there are days I would give anything for a girl. I have a girl dog...and thats about it. Infact this coming Feb. I will be having a hysterctomy so even if I really wanted to have another the possiblity wouldn't be there. So I will spoil my boys and my Skittles. Yesterday I binged on popcorn...Popcorn! its kinda like you can't eat one...and I ate like a bowl full. *sigh not looking back...on ward. Today was so clean I squeak! Need to get my water in but I normally drink all my water at night. Well off to Theatre,,,Im working on two plays right now,,,Evita. And Into the Woods. Anyone a theatre junkie like me? ttfn |
I walked today, 5 miles. Trying to make up for only doing shopping walking yesterday. I splurged on a jr bacon cheeseburger and a small fry at Wendy's. 19 points! Crazy, I could have eatten a ton for 19 points. lol

Morning Ladies!
Before I'm off for my shower I had a good night and a bad night good night exercise bad night stress induced soft-serve icecream with sprinkles ofcourse (don't you know they negate calories) :p We almost bought a condo last night be we decided against it I'm back on track today with a goal of drinking more water I'm going to do WATP after work and shred some chicken so DH can have a quesadilla and I can have chicken and mexican bean salad |
Hey all, I have a very busy day today and not too thrilled. Doing some things that I just don't want to! I will try my hardest to weigh at noon today and post my progress. It's been several weeks since I have been able to weigh. I have been feeling very run down lately. I get this way a lot. I sometimes get anemic and wonder if that is it again.

Sprinkles aren't too bad in calories. Cold Stone creamery lists the calories for all the regular toppings. (online) I love sprinkles. Esp on a krispy kreme donut, oops my bad, did I say that? lol
I walked 5 miles in the evening. I made myself go, glad I did once mile 1 was done. I am very absent minded lately. Too much info going in my brain and stuff is falling out. :D Jen, remember to breath. I hate beyond busy days like those. I have slacked on laundry for too long now. I will be the one buried under 15 loads of misc dirty cloths. {{{waves}}} |

Hey gals,
Just checking in. Not doing so hot. Just trying to get life back to normal. I have started back to work doing only a couple of massages a day. My physio is very painful right now but it will be worth it in the long run. I'm still getting massage & chiro twice a week and doing strengthening exercises at home. My upper back and neck are a mess and I can't do near what I could do 5 weeks ago before the car accident. I thought I was out of shape then! Unfortunately we've been eating a lot of convenience food b/c I'm too wiped to get together a proper meal. Its going to get better I just have to tough it out. It was our Canadian Thanksgiving this past weekend. I had a ton of company, which was good b/c DH was out of town. I've eaten a lot of pumpkin pie this week but at least it's made with skim milk and splenda. Plus too many potatoes and gravy. The leftovers are almost gone (thank goodness). A highlight of my weekend was when my brother & I went and watched Team Canada women's hockey team play the USA. It was an awesome game and Canada won 6-0!!! It was super. World-class hockey at its best. We made shirts and tattooed up our faces and cheered our hearts out. It was sooooooooo fun!! I can't wait for the winter Olympics. Hockey rules!! Kier, I think its a great plan to have a goal after the holiday season. Hopefully I can get to that point. RIght now my goal is to be pain free and back to work full-time. Then maybe I can focus on losing some poundage. Good luck with the house hunt. Jen, How did your WI go? Good luck! Flower WTG on 5 miles! That's awesome! Angie, how did you make out over Thanksgiving? Anyway I gotta go have some lunch. Now if only I had some clue as to what I'm eating.... |

Hey all. I have been swamped today with making phone calls. I am sneeking in a quick peek here while no one is looking!!!
I lost 3 pounds. I was hoping for more since I haven't weighed in a couple weeks... then I pull myself back to reality and say.... JEN, you never lose quickly!! I even did the 3 day quick start on Monday through today and that is it! My body just doesn't want to realease the weight!! But Alas... 3 pounds is 3 pounds and I will take it. Just 5 left until vacation. Even if I don't make that, I will still be happy that I have lost some!!!! KO... oh yah, I remember you saying you found a townhouse. I think I was confusing the 2!!! Flower... keep up that walking. It will make your PG a breeze!! Rina... I hope you can get your body back in shape. It sounds like you were injured quite badly!!! Just remember that convenience doesn't always mean that. Try making some crockpot meals so you don't have to mess with cooking in the evenings. It will be waiting there for you when you get home!! Speaking of which, I think I need to resurrect or start a new recipe thread!!! Most of recipes don't have points on them tho! OK, back to work! |
Rina, just take it a day at a time. I agree about the crock pot. Even if it is just to cook a whole chicken in it. I love to do that and I have a great base for lunch and dinner for many days. I freeze what I won't eat within 2 days and it is so yummy and convient.

How long can you leave a crock pot on for?

KO, I have cooked things for 8-10 hours before. But if it is chicken, you need to be careful because it will dry out with that length of time. I also have a recipe for black bean soup that cooks for 24 hours. Haven't had any problems with that length of time, as long as the recipe is meant to cook that long!!

Hi Rhina, living in Calgary is interesting during hockey season. Personally Im not interested in the sport. But how easy it is to get caught up in the red mile stuff.
Thanksgiving could of been worse,,,didn't over eat. Doubled up on salad and veggies with a couple of small slices of turkey. Yes did add cravy. And gawd help me,,,pumpkin pie. I am weak... *sigh I love the stuff....one time mentioning that I could eat a whole pie,,get sick and go back to eating more...thats just not right. I don't like any other food as much as pumpkin pie. Found a WW no crust recipe which I will be trying. Thanks for all the ideas with the crock pot,,use mine alot. Flower,,,hope you are conquering Mount Washmore. KO if your not ready to buy,,,renting a place is the way to go. Specially if you haven't found the ONE. Jen, what is the 3 day thing you do? Im a lil down right now. I gained 2 lbs. Talked with the speaker after and going through my food journal she came back with,,,I didn't eat enough. Im so busy and well not hungry,,,would raither go without then eat bad stuff. Should of eaten the bad stuff..lol I had a bad day Sat. Chinese food is not a WW friendly. by the time I added it all up it was 30 points...ouch! Then Sunday we had our dinner... but the rest of the week I have been averaging about 10 points extra...plus my 35 bonus. And I started working out,,,did the gazelle for 30 min 2 nights. Will be sure to eat all my points from now on. Seems weird to be saying that... Anyways have a brutal headache,,think it was the inner child throwing a temper tantrum mentally over the gain...lol (sense of humour still intact) night ladies |
I have decided I have no clothes! Nothing, nada. Nothing to wear if I was skinny, fat, normal or pg! I don't mind grubbies around the house, but I have to take my youngest to the doc this morning for his well check and they treat you so much better if you look nice. I guess I wil have to invest in a few maternity cloths this time around. I normally just get big stuff. lol
I go to my last WI tonight. I am still journalling, probably will the whole time, just gotta figure out how many points to maintain. And right now veggies sound like the worst thing on earth. Gonna have to work on that. |
Hey all, I am busy again today, so I thought I would pop in now. I am tired and tummy is not feeling well. I went to a meeting last night and they had pizza dip!!!
Angie, I did a 3 day quick start hoping it would help me get back on track. I had a menu to eat from and it was basically like eating at the very low end of points. I am not sure it worked that great, so i don't plan to re-try it any time in the near future. It made me really crabby and made me crave really bad by day 3. I am used to eating more from breakfast and lunch. Flower, I know what you mean about clothes. I am in desperate need of some. I feel like I look sloppy because clothes are not in my budget at this time. I also need a haircut desperately. OK, gotta run! |
bouncing in from my weight in i lost 1.8lbs sorry i havn't been around much this week, i've been battling one lb, i've lost it one day, its back the next etc, managed to have a break through this morning though and aparantly i lost that lb and her evil sister yey.

I maintained this week. Imagine that, I had 7 meals out, haven't had any real veggies, haven't had my minimum water. Leader is letting me come to meetings, just my goal is to maintain til I have the baby. (free support, woohoo) I walked 4 miles this afternoon.

I got in a mile walk before the storm hit. I tried though. I will go out again this afternoon. I ate yummy fish tacos last night. I still can't seem to stomach the veggies. I will keep trying, my adversion will wear off in a few weeks right?

Weather was in the 90's yesterday, 40's today. Fall and Spring in the Reno area is so fickle! And we wonder why we are sick all the time.

Hey all.. I was super busy at work yesterday (Friday) and didn't get back on to post. Today I was gone running errands and stuff. Then I came home and cleaned out the garden for winter and did some yard work. I am so extremely tired I just want to crash. Hopefully all the running was good for my waistline!!!
The weather here has been gorgeous the last 2 days. Yesterday it reached about 72 and today maybe around the same. The nights are very cool tho, in the low 40's, high 30's. But fall in Wisconsin is like that. Wisconsin can be sooo gorgeous in the fall, then watch out for winter!!! WELCOME PRUE! Nice to have you aboard!! Come and post on our weekly thread whenever you get the chance. We would love to have you! OK, gotta run. The girls are watching a Barbie movie and driving hubby bonkers!! |

well i've had the worstest (my daughters word) time, its tom and well lets just say my diet hasn't been happening, yesturday i managed to eat 1/2 bag of fun sized kit kats, ugh, so after three days of that i've managed to put on 4lbs, was super good today though, water food + exercise !!! oh well 4 days to lose it before weigh in.
