Week of September 19
Where is everyone? It sure is quiet here lately. I was gone Wed - Sat on business. It was OK, but my 2nd was upset with mommy being gone so long and had a breakdown. Poor dad. My oldest (Emma) was a good helper tho and tried to explain it to her little sister.
I ate pretty well and did workout 2 of the mornings at the hotel. Also, I had to walk quite a ways to the convention center and to everywhere else I went, so I got in plenty of exercise. I was so proud of myself. When you travel alone you can do your own thing better. I have to run out now and will be pretty busy the rest of the day, and week the way it looks!!! I'll type at ya later! |
Anyway I am doing well. I didn't WI on Sat since I was feeling kind of yucky... I have a gross cold that doesn't want to disappear. My weight seems to be down, but I don't want to put it down until it's official. My jeans are much looser (the ones I bought 5 weeks ago) and I can do up my goal jeans (although the goal of the goals jeans is to be comfortable in them, right now can barely breathe). Now I am in the upper milage my WL will probably slow for the next little while to barely nothing. I plan to start a Pilates class next week (depending on whether there is still room left). Here's hoping!
Jen: Yah for doing well, but hope Kate is doing better. BTW I love your daughters' names... I have been training for most of the last week so I have so much work to do now... Better than no work I figure. Cheers! Ali |
Hey Ladies
I was nuts yesterday. We had a Rude Awakening over the weekend and decided to stop drinking. it's a good decision. Foodwise i'm soso I ordered groceries last night online they're being delivered tonight between 8 & 10 I still forgot stuff tho! and I got my new Camera! I'm going to buy that jorge cruz 8 minutes in the morning for ppl who are out of shape (color me paraphrasing) gotta run work work work Kierie |
Ali, We stuck with simple names for our girls. Tho Kate is a Katherine, she goes pretty much by Kate. And poor Emma, we picked that name when we were first married, and now it is so popular. Being a Jennifer, I am not to keen on that, but I love the name so much. Emma is very much a princess while Kate is a Tomboy. That little 2 year old can sure throw a ball. Last night she was throwing a ball to me and I told her she would be my little sports girl and Emma chimed in that she was going to be the cheerleader. So much opposites. But I love it that way!
I am swamped today, so I better get going... |
I just wanted to sneak in and say hi! I am on week one of WW. I want to loose at least 60 pounds. That will be at the top of the ww chart for my height. I am 36, mom of 3 sons (Cameron 15, Riley 11 and Griffin 5). I live in the burbs of Reno NV. SAHM for now. (I am a florist normally) I think that is good for a start. ~audri

Hey Audri... I used to post on another board that you were on. I so remember you because you used to be a florist in LV. We were PG at the same time, but then you left the board because of your baby. I can't remember what board that was tho. My oldest will be 5 next month. I am 33 with 2 girls. Nice to see ya!!
|
Hi Jen! I remember posting with you too. Honestly this is the first real time I have tried loosing weight since having Griffin. Well, really tried. He is five on Friday!
|
Hi everyone! Audri, welcome :)
well, I've been MIA this week because it's the first week back at Uni and we've been registering all the new students - finally finished yesterday evening and boy! was I ready for it. Am spending today at home sitting out a migraine (from the release of all the adrenaline?) and taking it easy ... and trying not to think about classes starting on Monday. Right- back to the darkened room :( BBL |
Lolly Feel Better Hon
I totally fell Off program last night but I got up and worked out this morning so thats something good. A Funny thing happened last night After leaving the coffee house I asked my gfs to support me in Not eating the stuff I'm not supposed to. and the one who is heavier said yes instantly and the skinny one (who's gained 2 pounds and says she's fat) said nothing. I hate to say it but I think subconciously she wants to stay 1 of the 2 skinny ones and have us be the chunky ones and it kinda makes me mad I'm not stepping back on the scale till Oct 1 so I can see how I did with Septembers goal. bbiab Kier |
Flower - I lost the weight I gained with #1 after she was born, but no more than that. I still had at least 30 more to lose. Then I got PG with #2 and she is 2 1/2 and I am only down 16 from the weight I was when I gave birth. Keep in mind you do lose weight after the birth... so basically I am stuggling. But I am in a new mode of exercising and hope that helps. I have been on a yo yo of losing and gaining for a year now and am really tired of that!!!
Oh and my goal is to be down 10 pounds by my vacation to Disneyworld in November. I set this a month ago, so I am getting scared!!! I have 9 1/2 pounds to go! KO - Seriously, skinny friends can be the pits when you are trying to lose weight. I have had them and one in particular was quite jealous and not supportive at all. Now I know I am jealous, but I don't think I would not help someone if they asked me to! My brother has lost 70 pounds in the last 6 months and I have never ever seen him so skinny. We are very competitive and when I lost all my weight before I was PG with Emma, he was stinky about it. So yah I have not gone out of my way to help him, but I do offer cooking suggestions and have told him that his pants are too baggy (you know in a joking little sister way). I am very jealous, but I know that 2 years ago I was afraid he was going to have a heart attack with all the extra weight he had on. OK, enough rambling. I have so much to do at work but not in a mood. Found out our sheister landlord is taking about an office suite that he told us we could have. He never got around to getting the paperwork to us... so when the other stinky snotty tenants said they wanted it, he gave it to them. They are so nasty and no nice and know that we are occupying it. They have no lease on it, so the landlord (who is junk) is supposed to come over and talk. Either we get it or we move because we need the space. Ughhh. Ta ta!!! |
First WI is -2.4 lbs. I was hoping to have a much bigger loss, but I don't think it will happen. I am not a teenager anymore. lol
|
flower that's great! Just remember it didn't take you a week to put it on!
bbl Kierie |
YAH Flower... Every little bit counts. Think about 1-2 pounds a week, that would add up to 52+ pounds a year. OH MY, when I look at things like that I get excited.
My pants are fitting looser on me, so I am hoping for a good one. I weigh at the gym since I am doing this on my own. I have a lot to get done today at work. I can't wait for tomorrow. I am going to try to talk my hubby into letting me sleep in. Doubt it will work tho. Tomorrow is my HS homecomming and a little part of me is saying I should go. I haven't been there since I graduated and my class never had any reunions. I have seen some people in the 15 years since I graduated... but I am still scared. I wanted to be skinny. So I don't know if I will have the guts to do it. Maybe I will wear black since it is slimming!!! |
Jen-go to it. All of them have changed some, they will not notice if you haven't made it to "skinny". Slimming pants is great!
|
My house sale fell through! The guy got cold feet a week before closing! Ughhh!!!!
